G'day Jeff, I love the tours. I do exactly the same thing myself if my stopover is longer than 12 hours. My wife of 30 years is Spanish so we travel to Spain frequently to see family. You wouldn't believe this but I departed Madrid-Barajas Airport yesterday after a 12 hour work stopover. The building you were unsure about was the former Hotel Sevilla but not too sure when it closed. It's now owned by the González-Gaggero family, and protected by the Spanish architectural monument plan. Be safe, cheers John.
I stopped at Gibraltar, great place to visit, all the wild monkeys, etc. The road crosses the airport runway!! Really cool. You can see Morocco from Gibraltar, not too far away. Thanks Jeff, good pics of a nice area. And Gibraltar is famous for cheap ship fuel because the British run tankers down to Saudi and come back and sell the fuel with no levies or taxes, annoys the Spanish government no end :)
Thank you so much for all the information and yes I had another video before where I showed the Rock of Gibraltar really well. Amazing to see. Thanks for the comment and info.😎🚢🌊⚓️🎃
A great video, I loved walking with you . Some of my favorite times we're spent in Spain. My second port on my first job aboard the USNS Kane was in Cadiz.I went ashore with Rus Levin,if you recall him and his brother taught the Radio, electronics classes at Piney Point. Well Rus and myself took off walking at seven at night hitting bars for dark sherry. And yes we got lost, didn't get back to the ship till almost sunrise.. Like I said some of my favorite times we're spent in Spain.. Thank you for sharing this with us and hope in the future to can share some more videos ashore..
Amazing, what I noticed and like best...no graffiti anywhere and no trash on the street or sidewalks.
Yes, it makes it so much more pleasant

I think that in Spain they still do Siesta, which accounts for why many stores are closed.
