This brings back nice-ish memories, had fun playing back then, it's just that it heavily relied on building so much. Now seeing the content and mechanics it has without it and still seems to be fun, I might revisit

How? They took the most unique mechanic out of the game and added mechanic closes to other game like apex to make this game look effortless. The reason they took building out of casual game is because they thought that people can come in and play without any knowledge. Because of this, fortnite will die faster because there are better game with the same mechanic which is obviously Apex.
they should had limited the amount of building materials u can get in a game, not infinite. Without building mechanics in fortnite, its not unique anymore, tho i only played it once or twice myself

No build mode is definitely a breathe of fresh air though with a bunch of dope skins you might have. Been there since pretty much the beginning.

I agree with timmy about the hills. It used to make sense because it would force you to build in order to traverse, but now, with no building and the new sprinting and climbing mechanics being added, it just seems plain stupid that it cant be climbed at all.

@@shadowsnipes9242 yea but you have to realize, fortnite has a really high skill ceiling, you can be both best aimer and best builder and still not be good at the game, imo aim and fighting sense (how to use builds wisely) are most important

The no building actually makes the game look enjoyable. I know "building" is what makes it "special" but that was a turn off for me.

It just isn't a fun mechanic at all. It's too overbearing. The game was much better before the fast building. It was actually counterable. But now there's no thought involved at all. Get shot, build infinitely open a stupid window in a wall and shoot them through it. Made the game unplayable for anyone who plays for fun
