Holy shit dude, the way your eyes are always one step ahead of your hands really shows how complex this music is and how much skill it takes to play it! Always thinking one step ahead, brutal man 🤘
Thanks man! Alot of people thinks it’s 4 fingers, but it’s in fact 3. I always take that as a compliment because that confirms that the technique is working 😁
Fkn sick dude 🤙🏻 kinda off topic, but I also love the bass lines from "Open Face Surgery", specifically @1:14 where Worm's vocals do like this unexplainable gutteral growl type thing... Again, I can't explain how he does it or the sound, but that bass in that part specifically is just so creepy and dark, it's awesome lol I started listening to Cryptopsy back in 7th grade, which was late 90s, and at the time I didn't realize how awesome the bass was in some of these songs bc the headphones were crap back then, but fast forward years later when I got the first gen iPod Touch and some good earbuds... This was one of the first (non obvious) bass lines I noticed in the tracks, and it sent chills up my spine! I love how Cryptopsy incorporated bass to where it could actually be heard and how it was played like an instrument (and the way you play as well, super technical skill, plus how Langlois incorporated the funky slaps and jazz adjacent licks in a death metal song, which you do justice one-hundred-fkn percent 🤘🏻) and not just following the guitar root notes, and how it added like that final touch of chaotic, demented, gross, _creepy,_ *EVILNESS.* I'm primarily a guitarist, started out as a drummer, played drums for a band and got better at guitar and fell in love with it and been playing for over 20yrs, and as of recent ove been getting more and more into bass, and Again, fkn sick job covering their complex bass lines brah 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@ClammyHackett probably your interface is dividing the stereo channels between the inputs, my UMC22 does the same thing the only way to solve this is to configure your DAW to record the input in mono

Great cover man. I have a question, what do you use to record your bass? Do you use an audio interface?
Skeptikoi thanks man! Yes... it’s straight from the pedalboard in to a focusrite interface 😁
@@ClammyHackett thank you for the reply and keep up the great work! Greetings from Greece.
Man i always hated 3:12 where they did sixtuplets, so hard to count
man that was SICK
REALLY nice tone and skills, keep it up man!!
but just one thing, your bass is only on the right channel lol
Thanks dude! 😁 and yeah thats a problem I had in a few videos that I noticed after it was uploaded. Not sure what causes it though :/

Thanks for the tip man! Ill check that out 😃
Any tips for a complete beginner on bass? I’m willing to take it seriously to help out my scene 😌
Holy shit dude your insane, if I may ask how long have you been playing bass for?
Hit the 10 year mark this christmas 😁👍
The bass is criminally undermixed in the studio recording though, this was nice
I'm quitting bass playing lol
Hahaha please don’t 😁😅
View it as an inspiration
