You are correct, Rob... someone that was restoring this car didn't know the differences between the 1500 and 1600. Nice catch on the defrosters lol... Mechanically it appears to be a 1600 from what I could see on the video (master cylinder cap is the raised-type, front Lockheed discs, American market large signal indicators, and of course the 1600 badging). The tail lights are definitely 1500 and also the black painted dash is a 1500 trait (with either red or green interior). A black 1600 can have either red or beige interior and trim, but the dash should match the trim color. Also some liberties taken with the chrome 72-spoke wheels and "upgrade" of shoulder harnesses. Good looking car, but I'm sure there are a lot more details that we haven't seen that don't jive with an original restoration.
That looks like a nice MGA. If memory serves me, a black MGA with tan leather would have had a tan dashboard. Black cars with red leather had a red dash. Also, someone seems to have put the defroster vents on facing backwards. Easy fixed. The car looks 1600 at the front and 1500 in the back.
I have a chance to buy a 1960 MGA in all original condition. Very rusty, been sitting outside for at least 30 years, but it's complete. What's it worth?
I really enjoy of this video, and I should say that I know a person who has this car but it need to color again and I don't have enogh money to buy that, so I looking for a person who interest to buy this car and work on it together. I'm in Cyprus now. If someone like help me to do this project please send me message. Thank you🙏🏼🌹🌺

Not a 1960 MGA. Last I knew the tail lights had 2 lights on each side.
Nice car, the speedo and Tac are reversed.
Never seen in black.
