      There are, see description and rolling notes at bottom of the screen. Approximately, 36 or less months to pay…reminds me of buying my bike at Western Auto - “lay-away” LoL 😂

    Shalom to you and your wife brother Mark. Thank you for this video. I purchased property in Fumba, and I am here in America waiting for handover. I was there in July 2021 and have not been back since. Being here I cannot see all what you showed. So much development has occurred since I left. As you know they send updates, but they only show a glimpse of the community. You did it for me brother. Praise Almighty that he used you so I can see my future. I can't wait!!!

      Hello, I'm looking to purchase also. But, I was told you can't actually buy land in Tanzania only lease. So, can you tell me if when you buy you get the property title in your name. If you own outright Can you sell the same way we can in the USA?
      Thank you.

    • @AwakenWithMarkInAFRICA
      @AwakenWithMarkInAFRICA  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Purchasers fund. Germans are the developers. I believe they build after you purchase, not beforehand. A purchaser has several years to payoff in full, construction occurs simultaneously. This is a you buy then we build scenario. There is also a partnership of some type with Zanzibar.

    Thanks sharing! In your opinion where is better to buy an apartment to rent for a great return on investment? Fumba town or Fumba Uptown?

    • @AwakenWithMarkInAFRICA
      @AwakenWithMarkInAFRICA  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are welcome. Regarding your question, I really couldn’t say, I purchased to live in our place, not to rent it out. We don’t have that landlord mindset. Nor, have we done the research necessary to know which investment would align with our goals. Set your personal goals, understand the level of risk that your comfortable with, research the two sites, and find someone who has succeeded at that already then ask them for guidance. And remember, advice givers are often projecting their perspectives (insecurities/confidence) onto you…form your own opinions.

    I went there three years ago to see an apartment I was interested in. I didn't buy because the landscape wasn't done at all. They promised everything will be finished in three years. Here we are almost three years, and it still not finished. That's what I fear. That the reason for I didn't buy.

      99 year lease…Property title with deed.
      Important questions like this require a conversation.
      Remember, in US it’s called eminent domain. Or, simply create a catastrophe.

    Is this development built owed and operated by Africans?

    • @AwakenWithMarkInAFRICA
      @AwakenWithMarkInAFRICA  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I believe that this development is done by Germans (developer) working in partnership with Zanzibar government. You can Google for more information. Once you purchase, you become eligible for the HOA as an owner, the developer fades away.

      Maybe you can email us AwakenwithMark@gmail.com and tell us what you are hearing. All I would have is anecdotal information from me walking around. That would not be accurate because there are owners not living here, renters (long term & short term), CPS employees living in the development, etc. I do not have any demographic data for Fumba Town.
