Some of the most magnificent goals ever scored and he is ambidextrous, kicking from anywhere with either foot... a lethal South American goal scoring machine! Sad his team couldnt win, Uruguay had a monster attack trio with Forlan Cavani and Suarez!!
Diego and Luis, the best forwards in the history of the Uruguayan selection. Together with Cavani the 3 of them made our team to be feared by others. The best attack ever. If Luis Suarez was available against The Netherland I’m sure we could have beaten them. Greetings from Uruguay!

That year 2010 was Forlan's year. Best player in the World Cup and shared top score, as well as winning both UEFA Cup and Spanish Cup with Atletico Madrid. Despite all this, the Golden ball went to Messi who only won the La Liga with Barcelona.
The prize could have gone to Sneijder who won the Champions League, Serie A, Copa Italia, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA World Club Cup with Inter Milan, as well as taking Holland to the World Cup final.
Not mentioning Aniesta who won the World Cup.
Since that year I knew that this prize was not related to facts and justice.
Messi won it because he was individually better than all of the players you mentioned.
