Hi Friends! Forgot to mention this in my video, but if you are interested in trying out the French cleat system (or any other hanging system) from Hangman Products, they are offering 15% off of their website with code “DIYHUNTRESS15”! Here is where I got my cleats from: hangmanproducts.com
I think I have already rewatched this twice already. They were so beautiful! I can't wait till the shops are open and I can buy material for builds again
I love the design and the visual appeal of these nightstands. Using the french cleat system was a great choice. It gives such a crisp and simple look but at the same time an elegant look. Thanks for the video. Stay safe.
Love these! Also, woodworking helps so much with the root chakra so if you're feeling anything like instability with home life, money, housing, food stability, roots, etc wood working can help ground you. 🙏🏼 It's so powerful.
Wow!!! Now, I know how to prevent my drawers from falling out without unnecessary hardware. Thanks again. Beautiful work. Love-Love your channel. You Rock!!! Namaste.
Best vid I've seen for the floating tables. My only critique is when you use the brackets instead of flush mounting, you need and adjuster on the back bottom to screw out for leveling. Otherwise the table is very slightly tilted forward. Excellent quality build. And I love that you didn't use modern drawer slides.
Oh they are seriously so gorgeous. You worked so hard on them. Good job as always. What I love about your channel is your humility. You're not afraid to show mistakes and not afraid to admit you get intimidated or nervous at times. That's every project for me :)
I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t intimidated at times, but that’s part of growing and learning and pushing your comfort zone! I promise to always share the rough patches too! Thanks for the love. 😊
I am so glad I found your Channel❤️ Straight forward and to the point! I am a beginner woodworker...Yayyyy lol and I’ve found your Channel very resourceful. I just began woodworking in my home. I started out making my very own bed frame which I made two. They turned out beautifully. Definitely wish I would have come across your page first. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the video. I’m in process of making these out of knotty alder with the knots and cracks filled with black epoxy. I’m pretty new to woodworking and am wondering why you used poplar for the inside? Right now I’m debating whether to buy pine because it’s cheaper or poplar.
These are SO gorgeous 😍 I have 2 live edge pieces almost exactly like these and I was thinking of using them flat as nightstands... But that is genius to have them asymmetrical as drawer fronts with pulls! What a great 💡!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice project & love the floating nightstands. However, I don't have your tools on hand, but thanks for sharing. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
Very nice final look, but those hangers are not very sturdy. Even their own videos on a small shelf were bouncy. I've tried them on a 11" deep x 3' floating shelf and wasn't very sturdy... did you add/bolt something else to the wall to keep it from bouncing on the wall?
As always a great build. Where did you get those blue clamps I would love to have some. Aslo don't mind me im just over here binge watching your stuff.
I love the design and the end result. Personally would not have pin-nailed the fronts to avoid adding imperfections, but probably doesn’t matter as its such a small hole. Congrats on the awesome work! (Grabbed a couple of ideas for a project I’m making, thanks for such an in-depth video) Cheers
That's the beauty of DIY projects - everyone's process is a bit different and that's okay. 🙂 Thanks for the love! Glad there were some ideas in there that were helpful! Good luck on your project.
Ok watching old videos since I recently subscribed. ARE YOU A TEACHER TOO?! I’m technically a district behavior analyst, but I used to be a teacher! Seriously, you are goals for me lol
Great video!! Love the nightstand. A video idea that would be cool would be since you live in new york you could get fallen tree logs and make your own lumber for a project or make a live edge.

At 15:23, where did you get that awesome lamp?
Would you recommend the french cleat system for mounting on log walls?
Sam. These are gorgeous. I totally feel you on needing this therapeutic builds that are just for us. 🤘
Thank you! For sure - can’t wait to crash your shop again and build something cool for us girls. 😝

using this natural feature as handle is very very nice
Oh my goshhhh this is such a beautiful nightstand!
Thank you! 💕
The live edge drawer fronts look amazing. Such a great idea to use the gap as the pull
Thank you! I was gonna fill it with resin when I started. So glad I didn’t!

Beautiful cabinets and love the walnut
Oh honey, this is such an awesome build. That live edge is 🔥. You’re a real inspiration, sis!
Thank you so much for the love. You rock. 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Great finish and end result. Would have liked to have seen titebond dark wood glue and soft-close or push-to-open drawer slides.
These are so beautiful

That's a great idea to use the void left by the live edge to use as a handle.
Thank you! Was gonna fill it with epoxy! Glad I didn't.

Great project, going to embark on the same. What was your inset for the hangman cleat? Your code didn’t work for the hangman product 😞
