    So it doesn’t go on top of the diaper… I have the same ones but I’m scared to use them like that because my baby might poop in it. I thought it was to protect the diaper.

    Do yo have to use inserts or you just can leave the diaper as it is?

    • @BBLittles
      @BBLittles  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the super long delayed reply Lina!! You don't need to use inserts, it works great stopping poo as is; however, you will want to check with your local pool because each pool has different rules. Some are ok with just the single reusable, some require a disposable under a reusable, some require two reusables double-layered.

    Do you have to check the child’s swim diaper for soiling

    • @BBLittles

      Unless you can see them actively pooping or if you're holding them and feel them poop; you will need to check them occasionally to make sure they haven't pooped with out you noticing. Swim Diapers are only TEMPORARY barriers for poop in pools. The longer they are in the water the poop will dissolve.

    Is it normal for water to get into the diaper or am I leaving it too lose?

    • @BBLittles
      @BBLittles  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is normal for water to get in the diaper. It's not possible to keep a water tight seal because you'd have to duct tape the legs or something. If you want less water however, using the rise snaps to bring the excess fabric up in the fron will help from it filling up too much with water. :)

    • @BBLittles
      @BBLittles  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is normal, since the swim diaper is not a complete seal around the legs, you will get water in it and because the fabric itself is waterproof it can sort of 'pool' in there

      So is it normal for the diaper to leak? I mean I used a disposable one thinking they absorbency would be like a normal diaper and it was like the pee went all over?

    my little one is 27lbs and he's complaining that the diaper's too tight around his thigh. Is it normal for the thigh to be tight like that?

    • @BBLittles
      @BBLittles  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some times kids do complain it's too tight, you will want to make sure that it is high up in the crease of his legs where they meet his bottom; if this one is too tight we just released a larger size designed to fit kiddos between 20 and 50 lbs

    Do I put my 1 years diaper under the swim diaper?

    • @BBLittles
      @BBLittles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't want to ever wear a regular disposable diaper in water. It will fill up and potentially explode and it is really hard to get polyacrylate out of the pool. You can wear the swim diaper by itself. Swim diapers don't contain urine so change once you're at the pool and ready to go swimming and change out of the swim diaper before you leave. Some pools require double layers so either a disposable SWIM diaper underneath or two reusables.

    I still don't see how this water proof diapers can hold solids in case of an accident, I'm an adult and in the market for one to swim during my therapy but don't know what to look for.

    I'm new guy to this do you use a diaper under it I'm worry it won't hold

    • @BBLittles
      @BBLittles  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Michael! Our diapers do contain solids (poop) well as long as the diaper is adjusted correctly and your Little's diaper is replaced right after she/he has pooped. Swim diapers are not designed to hold liquids so urine (pee) will not stay in the diaper - make sure you put on a regular diaper before putting your baby in a stroller, car seat, or your lap! :)
