2024 Columbus Air Show C 5M and C 17 Transport Planes

While walking around the 2024 Columbus Air Show on Saturday (6/15) I saw two of the largest military transport planes in the US fleet; the C-5M and the C-17.
Both are designed to transport men and equipment to areas of the world as needed, and as you can see, these planes are HUGE!
I did walk through the C-5M along with the crowd of people. They had both the hatch and the nose open to show how easily you can get large tanks and weaponry as well as cargo on board.
Now the C17, while if did have the hatch open it did not have the nose open so I got as far as I could before turning back (huge crowd inside).
But both planes show the ingenuity of the modern Air Force in getting men and material to anyplace in the world.
