Just Did this for my macbook pro running el capitan. I was having trouble seeing the message cannot modify system root files, after a quick search i see i was supposed to use the "system" keychain not the root . After unlocking it and drag and drop the pem file he showed in this video into system folder, i had to right click on it and press get info. Then use the trust drop down category and switch to always trusted. works perfectly now THANKYOU SOOOOOO MUCH for this video!!

Hey, Thanks for this. I tried downloading the pem. The IRSG Root X 1 shows in my keychain but the step that you do at 2:52 minute mark never shows up for me - did that window to add the keychain to systems open up for you automatically or did you do another step that was not here? When I click on the downloaded IRSG root - it gives me an option for new preferences and asks for a website that I wanna use the certificate for, and I add the website but the site still shows as insecure. I checked with admins and they said there is no problem with their certificates on their end. Thanks for your help.
