I also have an interesting tech/off strategy to recommend: Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom can copy card effects on field and GY - He can essentially copy Sphere Mode on opponent's field/your gy or Phoenix mode to use their effects for Free and Summon either 4k/4k Ra or just act as a board wipe in general
He's playing a God deck: For us it was an unexpected play, for him it was Tuesday But seriously, maybe I'm missing a GY effect to take advantage of the milled card, or the fact that he's playing it at 3 paid off, but that just looked as a lucky shot And you're here on MD as well? I'm curious on what you're running
@@Jyxero lol, noice to see you again. Yeah, the last for me relevant YGO I played was DS WC2010. Duel links not motivated me. THIS here has QUALITY. They gave FINALLY the Archtypes their Lores. Also effects & ESPECIALLY OST'S are superb.
@@Delicashilous it's Konami, maybe there's stingy with rewards, and killed various franchises, but their OST still is top tier Oh... And if you don't mind: I'm looking for a deck that doesn't rely on floodgates / negates (basically let the duel flow) to go trough opponent board, while having ways to keep ours healthy enough (including resources, to keep them recycled or similar) I choosed "Rikkaroma" based on that, but now I can't tell, since aside of Meta matchups, I don't have that much knowledge on the TCG (OCG por Master duel purposes) Any advice will be welcomed; and on either case, good luck when climbing though the piles of of Sky striker, Shadoll & Tribrigade (any variant) players

Has anyone managed to invoke ra's fenix mode? I got it once and because I left the ra with zero attack and zero defence and I didn't activate the effect and then the opponent destroyed my ra and then I invoked phoenix mode from my hand and I couldn't attack with it, and I come back immediately to the graveyard, and I didn't understand.. this and silly burial cards and reborn monster don't work with him.. if anyone managed to summon it, teach me how you did it, because I think it's very difficult.. so answer me here.. how do you do it?
I'm wrong, the cards really work but the deck needs to be very lucky with the opponent otherwise you won't be able to summon the winged dragon of ra and phoenix mode.
Cycle with the trap that acts as either the lp sacrifice for ra or the tribute to gain the lost lp back. That way u can go ra into phoenix into sphere every time ra comes he got more attack. (4k/4k)each time due to sphere.
Ra's effect takes your LPs, you could choose to not give them up but he'd have 0/0 stats. But there are cards thaf special summon him, and that effect wont trigger if special summoned and instead give him a flat 4000/4000
You could bring him out with ancient chant then you wouldn’t need to. Even then I would give the LP to him since that’s a set up for an instant win a lot of the time.
I fought against this deck yesterday with my DM deck, was pretty cool but was luckily able to deal with it by banishing the boss monsters and negating ancient chant with ash. I got lucky in the end when he thought he had me by tributing the three monsters on my board for sphere mode with me only having one card left in my hand, but unluckily for him and funnily enough that card was dark magician girl (his hand was empty at that point as well, so I just tributed the sphere for her then used the effect of salvation to get DM on the field and go for game (he had less than 3k LP at that point). My deck isn't exactly ideal either for DM but the random additions I had actually countered this deck well, first time I effectively used gravedigger's trap hole for example.
Kinda confused that they have a summon animation for god slime and immortal pheonix, but not Ra himself
or the other god cards.
The animation are only for problem cards/ good cards lol

There’s a bit of a different color when the gods slam onto the field unless other cards have red splashes.
It's a shame that Konami didn't give an animation on the original Ra but at Immortal phoenix yes

Lucky you that they didnt use tier 1 deck and let u sum ra , tier 1 deck have many things that can end duel with just 2 or 3 turn

One way u can do it is when u have pheonix in the grave use ras own effect to pay 1000 and kill itself which will proc pheonix
