From my boss: 3:23 entering a roadway without any lighting. 5:24 needs new lighting. That’s the problem with strobes. As they get older they just don’t work properly and becomes erratic. 6:50 appears to have no lighting in the front or rear. Oversight? Maybe, but a dash light isn’t expensive.
Strobes tend to not show up very well on cameras. It appears that they flash inconsistently or not at all sometimes, but it's just an effect from how the camera records the video. The light bar is likely fine, but I do agree a full strobe light bar is not the brightest light bar out there. And that unit with only side lighting at 6:50 definitelyyyyy needs some front and rear lighting, especially if they're technically responding emergent to incidents like this.
@@GloucesterCountyNJFire probably due to the variation in responding units (i.e some brush units having ROPS/rollcages or some being really old/vintage) so it doesn't feel like a consistent/sensible response
They asked for brush trucks and they got brush trucks. But you're right, it's bad that they didn't specify brush trucks with/without roll cages and from specific years of manufacture 🙄
That first truck is badass
Oh yeah it is
Agreed
How old is this? Some of the PSTs heard aren’t even working there anymore.
March of this year

Como que Verga Fire Rescue??
Why did a helicopter land
Drone was out of service so they took the Chief up for a Birds Eye view of the fire
A lot of engines and no fire
At 2:15 you can see the smoke from fire
This was the most confusing response I’ve ever witnessed.
Why?
