Thank you so much I spoke to the catholic chruch the priestthey say Jesus never had brother or sister. God bless I realize I must keep reading the word of God.
I also as a catholic believed Jesus was an only child untill I read the truth of the Gospel. Really it was really lazy of me not to research the bible for myself, but the Holy Spirit drew me to do so, ask the Holy Spirt that's what he is for. Man can't help putting their spin on if, but the Holy Spirit is the real authority on all things in God's Kingdom.
@@alisonskipworth-ke4vv I would like to know from which part of the bible, you came to such a conclusion. I am also researching on this. "He is the only Son"
@@mervin72the scriptures this video is on mention Jesus’ brothers in John chapter 7 verses 3-10. Also Matthew 13:55-56 mentions His brothers and also His sisters. On this Christmas Day, how do you try to appear to be perfect? How can you better acknowledge your need for Jesus' perfect strength? And here is hoping that everyone reading this had a Merry Christmas today.
Your teachings about Mother Mary is wrong. How can you say she had other children? Brothers and sisters of Jesus in the sense who was said to be his disciples or who followed him. Matthew 12:49 [Pointing to his *disciples* , he said, “Here are my mother and *my brothers* . 50 For *whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister* and mother.”] John 20:17-18 [17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to *my brothers and tell them* , ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene went to *the disciples with the news* : “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.] Jesus asks to tell his brothers and Mary Magdalene went to the disciples. Is it clear now? Before you explain Acts 1:14 [They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with *his brothers* ] you might need to read Acts 1:15 too [In those days Peter stood up among the *brothers* (a gathering of *about a hundred and twenty* ) and said,] . Do you mean to say Mary had 120 kids other than Jesus? Jesus lived only for 33 years and Mary did not deliver anyone before Jesus.. So in the 33 years Mary delivered 120 kids? What nonsense? If Jesus had other brothers and sisters, why did he give his mother to John? Why not to other brother and sisters? And why they were not under the cross? As described in your 2nd chapter in enduring word website, Joseph died too early. Then how can Mary have so many kids? Even you say my dear brothers and sisters, are all those your half brothers and half sisters? I do not know what pleasure you have in teaching something wrong and absolutely nonsense
@mervin72 I don't know if your reading carefully, but the text that the preacher using is John 7:1-13, you can read clearly that Christ has a Brother and Sisters Matthew 12:49 that you use has a whole story so that you can see the full context of it. 46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” 48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” "YOUR MOTHER AND BROTHERS ARE STANDING OUTSIDE...." My friend, if Jesus does not have a family, or does not experience to have a family, How can we call and pray and ask for strength, favor, patience etc.. if Christ does not have a family or did not have brothers and sisters, how can we pray and ask for Him He doesnt know what am I going thru! I am not going to reply back, think about what you have just commented.
@@lakisagatas1 if you read my comments you would understand properly. There is only one Jesus. What we talk about is his mother. She had only one child, Jesus. She did not have too many sons and daughters. If you want to understand go through my comments properly with an open heart to understand. You are not going to gain anything by preaching Mother Mary had too many kids. It is a shame to say if Jesus does not have brother or sister, we cannot pray to him. He is omnipotent. He knows in and out of everything. Will you say he did not marry.. so we cannot ask family matters to him? As mentioned earlier in my comment, when Jesus asked Mary to go and tell his brothers, she went to Jesus' disciples.. Is it so hard to understand one who does the will of the Father is the brother and sisters of Christ? It is not because Jesus has too many brothers we say brothers in Christ.. You need to think and reflect on your own. I am good with my understanding.
@@mervin72 Let ne perfectly clear here, I believe what you said about 'whoever do the will of the Father ia my brother' I believe that. What I'm saying is that Christ has a biological brother and sister.
