Now i cannot hear every op.822 no.20 anymore but this version. It really suit with your own piano sound and the sharp beat.

I really like how the Allegro Vivace is played at ≈ 85 BPM, instead of the usual ≈170 BPM in todays performances of music from this era.
This is more moderato than allegro vivace.

It's great, but I do feel like a live performance would really make it work. Also, I kind of don't like the extra bar in the fugue subject (he could have removed the fifth bar and it'd only have improved the piece), but eh.
In any case, nitpicks or no, it's great that we can hear these pieces, at the very least to be able to evaluate them.
Yes I agree but the subject would also be smaller and lose most of the original idea. I think One could improve this on this pieces fugue a lot but it’s perfectly balanced the way it is with the odd countersubject introduced in the second treble voice in the sixth bar.
@@sComposerJamesLear I don't think the last bar of the subject is closely related to the idea that's being presented, it's just a route to the dominant.
