OMG, the tape in extensions are surprisingly awesome. I was a little leery at first, but they have really grown on me. They are a little harder to cover than a regular wefted weave IMHO, but for the simplicity are simply divine!
I've been able to find Special Effects at Hot Topic from time to time, but they always seem quite expensive and hit or miss with colors. We sell a ton of Special Effects so we keep a pretty heavy backstock on it. Thanks for spreading the good word about our site and if there is anything we can do, just let me know. :)
There are two ways this is achieved. The first is through blending two fibers of opposite colors - black is shorter, and brushed into a longer blonde. This will result in a "mixed" look at the top, but overall it will look black to blonde. The second is with fiber stains. It is a colorfast ink stain that sets on the blonde to turn the top dark. Each line will be different - we have some lines that are blended and some that are stained. :)
Yes, we have a bunch of new videos coming out! :) We are very excited to share them. Thank you so much for the compliments. It makes it all worth the work to get such great feedback. I'm quite certain I have aged, but I don't have any great secrets. I wish I did! And yes, you can definitely help support me and our team by buying all of your hair loot at doctoredlocks(dot)com !
Since DE are looped at the top, they wouldn't be good candidates for that. However, you could install single ended more easily end to end - but it would take more and you would see the braid. You might consider having a custom seller on Etsy make some for you. :)
Hello! how can I blend my clips in please? they are brown with blond streaks and I have jetblack hair. I have tried to color but the extensions I have can't color the hair.. Can you please help or give any advice.. 🌹
That kind of depends - but what I would most likely do is try to add black extension hair into the clip set. You can do that with inexpensive black wefted (weaving) hair - just get one pack, cut strips to fit your clip set and do a loose stitch over the top layer of your clips. It won't cover the brown/blond but it will add black to them so that they mix with your existing hair. So it will be all 3 colors and nice and long and full. :)
Awww, thanks so much for the positive feedback! I will be sure to spread your praise to everyone here. :)

I know you may have been asked this before, but have you tried hackling the hair to blend out the colour? It blends so well and flawlessly.

How to blend a bond extensions or microrings extensions? Is it the same method?
You would do your blending first - exactly the same, and then create your bond tips. :)

So if I buy some of your pre made synthetic de locks they are 32in long, and I want to double it to 64in long, can I tie them together somehow??

What colors are those... Baby pink??
I believe it's the Bubblegum mixed with the white.
