Eurovision 24: #23 Estonia 🇪🇪 5miinust & Puuluup (Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi

At number 23 in my top 37 of Eurovision 2024 is Estonia, represented by 5miinust and Puuluup with "(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagis".
Our second Baltic country of this year's countdown is the most successful results-wise. Estonia was the first of the new wave of countries that entered Eurovision in the 90s to win the contest (in 2001) and they have had a further ten top 10 results (from 28 appearances) including last year's entry which finished 8th. So it's a strong pedigree that the winners of Eesti Laul 2024 have to live up to - though they've made their mark already by having the longest song title in Eurovision history. Will they make their mark in any other way?

I think this is another televote heavy song. The problem is that if we have lots of televote heavy songs then they will cancel each other out. Might be right hand side of the board if they get through to the final
Saying that i do appreciate the song and the sound to it and i wonder if a couple of juries might mark it in their lower top 10. Much prefer it to Finland.

There are definitely going to be some winners and losers in the race for televoters - I don't think all those televote heavy songs will get similar shares of the vote. Will be interesting to see how it turns out!
