Hello and thank you for watching! A trim job is a yard job usually consisting of 3 SD40s, that spots prebuilt car blocks in the departure yard. From here the cars are left from where mainline power is added for the train departures. In the past there used to be 3 trim jobs on duty around the clock, but with the new CEO and layoffs, only 2 are on duty now.
