Servo motor delivers high torques at both high and low speeds

A servo motor can position very precisely and delivers high torques at both high and low speeds. Therefote it is important that the gearbox is also precise, to avoide accuracy loss. When using a normal gearbox, the driven part can hit the opposite teeth at full speed. As a result, the surface can deform plastically. We call this a hammer effect.
