What would you like to see about this? Like how tables and subtables work? Or going through some of the more involved drop tables?

I'm already extremely familiar with dps calcs for OSRS, but I found that cheat sheet super interesting! Eyeballing it, it looks like the distribution is
    1 - 1 / (2n)
Which makes sense if you set the attack roll to be a multiple of the defence roll. The second half of the equation is just the distribution 1/2, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8... Which is simple enough to remember!
Edit: Had the wrong formula at first. Had 1/n instead of 1/(2n).

Interesting, I knew there would be some formula that would describe just couldn't picture it

@@WaswereRS Yeah, I immediately recognised the numbers in the cheat sheet as 50%, 25%, 16.67%, 12.5%... all being subtracted from 100%, which give the numbers you were listing in the cheat sheet. Actually, from working it out more carefully, I realised I made an error. My original formula should have an additional factor of 2, meaning it should be
      1 - 1 / (2n)
... and yep, there's a factor of 2 in the denominator in the formula at 6:05, as I would expect.
The logic behind this simple formula is that given that the formula in the video is essentially
      1 - d / (2a)
with some minor offsets (the +2 and +1) that don't really matter for large values around 10k that we work with. It makes sense that if you set the attack roll to be a multiple of the defence roll (i.e. a = nd) then the defence roll cancels from the numerator and denominator to give
      1 - 1 / (2n)

I'd suggest simplifying the attack roll to void * gear * equip_eff * [(lvl * prayer) + 8 + style]. You aren't doing that because of rounding I assume, But how ofter is that relevant? In case it usually isn't this is just much easier to remember. In cases where the dps really matters you'd of course double check with a calculator.

I came to see gear switching, combo specs like in RS3 didn't think it was just math talk. 🤣

Meanwhile RS3 accuracy after update is just picture of Todd Howard saying "It just hits."
    Great video nonetheless.
