Great video. I think it's worth mentioning a couple of things:.. I would advise folk to chock the front wheels prior to lifting the rear of the car.. Also, as you mentioned this was a fairly low miles vehicle most won't be. Therefore there could be a build up of dust and debris within the brake drum/inner disc area which might necessitate full removal of the disc to clean and lubricate. 👍
Thanks Nigel, very informative. Having watched other videos showing adjustments on the centre console, I decided not to attempt this task on my Kia as it appeared too complicated. However, now that you have explained that only the drum brake assembly requires adjustment I will go ahead and complete this task myself. Thx again😁
Very similar to my old E46 BMW arrangement ... awful faff to get properly balanced and working well as the handbrake was the same on both sides and opposite for tightening/loosening, but when you do get it, it was awesome! 😜
