3:24 I love the way he makes it look like that lightening struck him. 😊 From one Dear to a new Dear, when you see him punch out with the microphone, amazing and wondrous sounds immediately follow after. Many of his videos have subtitles in English.
The longest note(s) I’ve heard him sing without a new breath is around 18-22 seconds. SUSTAINING those notes 🤯🤯🤯👏🙌🙏 and when you see him down on the floor at the end of this song, it’s helping him to channel his breath, power, and energy. He’s just the best! 😊

He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
I think you already know by now, SOS is a song in the French rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.
Every performance of this and many others songs are different. They are all worth watching😅.
If you like emotional songs then react to his Kazakh songs. I mentioned this on my last comment. Or another very emotional song Ikanaide. His first song in Japanese.
    th-cam.com/video/8mM-bp5PB34/w-d-xo.html
Many Japanese people watched this performance and they all say Dimash sang in perfect Japanese. Some also claimed that it was better Japanese than many Japanese themselves😅.
    Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

To see another side of Dimash, try reacting to his more contemporary music like Fly Away, Be With Me (official music video,) Okay (official mv,) Smoke (performance video,) When I've Got You (official mv.) His native Kazakh songs are among his most beautiful: Angel Love, Grateful to Fate, Samaltau, Omir, etc. Enjoy! From an Indiana Dear, USA.

Dimash la canta de forma hermosa, quizás para algunos hay quienes lo hagan mejor, pero Dimash es único, porque es una más de todo el gran y bello repertorio que tiene y nos encanta. ❤

Definitely, I'm not used to hearing the opera style of singing but he makes it very progressive by adding in other styles. Very cool!

This song is a pearl of the French songbook: It is a French-Canadian cyberpunk-rock opera called “Starmania”, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Gregory Lemarchal. The theme of the song is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the afflicted character: From the chest voice to the head voice and then to falsetto, the author sought to show a broad need to overcome a moment of despair and the pretense of accepting to reach a higher perspective! Dimash, currently at his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who have departed this world!

Thanks so much for your great reaction! If you ever have time and want more background on Dimash, try the 12 short “The Ultimate Dimash Guide” videos produced by Lila Si. She’s on YT and she does a wonderful, comprehensive coverage of Dimash as a young child (he talks about his early appearances on stage), as a student, his interests, his influences/idols, his views on his vocal range, his training, his experiences at his concerts, what his fans mean to him, and his attitude towards his role as an artist. It’s really interesting and done well. Again, thank you for keeping Dimash in your contents! His recent duets in China are amazing, but I’m not sure if any have copyright issues. For me, any song you select from his channel will be fantastic! ❤️

This song is from a 1970's rock opera called Starmania. Dimash has made this his own with his amazing performance of it.
Another one you should look for is Diva Dance from the movie The 5th Element. Everyone mentions that maybe Dimash is an alien & this song is what the blue alien sings in the film. Dimash's version is fantastic. Look for his Bastau concert performance, it will blow your mind?
    Thanks a lot 😊🙏💞

That He Continues To Improve Anything He HAS Done Is Admirable,
    & A Wee Bit Magical ✨🫠
This was a 3hr LIVE digital concert for his fans during lockdown ✨🤍✨
🆘 The song itself is from Starmania a Canadian-French cyberpunk rock opera written in 1976.
👼🏻 Gregory Lemarchal was a young French singer who was the inspiration for DIMASH to sing 🆘
    “SOS d'un terrien en detresse"
Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at a young age, Gregory defined all odds and won the fourth series of the singing contest Star Academy. He became an overnight sensation in France and went on to have a successful career. He was known for "La voix d'un ange"- the voice of an angel.
Gregory succumbed to his illness at the age of “23💔”
This video is a tribute to his memory. 💔❤️‍🩹❤️
So that there in no confusion as too “WHY DIMASH” sings this song. It is in the
“Tribute to Gregory” and his message. The meaning of the lyrics in Gregory’s life are what holds Dimash’s heart✨🤍✨
    THE STORY BEHIND 🆘
    👼🏻”Angel Gregory"
& Dimash SOS d'un terrien en detresse
    🇫🇷 French with subtitles

    IT’S WHERE DIMASH GETS HIS

I am a 72 year old Dear and the music, the interpretation of lyrics that Dimash brings to every song he performs has helped me through the loss of my husband, my older sister and 2 grandchildren. So, may I suggest you do a reaction to the fan video done by LiLa Si of his song The Meaning Of Eternity. Greetings from Nebraska.
