    1975 what a year for me! still here and the life savers borrowed this album from me ....life savers...loved him and Sam Cooke of course ......I will never forget this album made me smile so much .....I had one of those radio/record players by my bed at Walsgrave Hospital .....thank you ;-)

    Live at The Roebuck Erdington in 1975. Introduced by the late Ed Doolan. Side 2 of this album was recorded at The Fletch in Coventry.

    I still have this LP. I believe it was the first album from Jasper Carrott. Came out in 1975 I think. The Magic Roundabout is a classic, but I think my favourite bit is the tribute to Eric Idle at the end of side 2. I just love the way it fades out at the end, it just leaves you imagining Jasper's still there rabbiting on and on and on..... what a great ending, absolutely brilliant. It baffles me why they stuck this track on the end of side 1 on the cassette version. Why did they do that?

      Tape space. They used to shift bits around if one side of an LP was significantly longer than the other so they wouldn't have to use as much tape. Daft.

    Jasper was brilliant before he went off to tv.

      I’ve seen him live several times and he’s still fantastic on stage.
