Are you painting with acrylics or thinking about it? What is your number one goal with acrylic painting?

Thank you, Makcolm fot the video. But there is only one obstacle: in a short time my acrylic paintings will be darker. Moreover a degree of tarnish is absolutely unpredictable. I tormented myself with acryl some years after which was thro' with exercises in futility. Acryl is not to be compared with oil or watercolour or gouache.

Acrylics, once dry, remain stable and will not crack or deteriorate. Perhaps your experience with color mixing or layering color was an issue. Clean color notes are a challenge in any medium. You can get the most vibrant and luminous colors with acrylics too. Having said that oils are still the leading medium with traditional artists and collectors.
