An engine swap must be certified/endorsed by the RTO. An engine change is possible if we are replacing it with engine of same specifications ( no change in cubic capacity). Also, there has to be proof of purchase for the new engine. Any other engine swaps will take away the "road worthy" tag from ARAI.
Further, you can't switch a petrol engine with diesel engine. Use of Nitrous Oxide (a chemical that increases the power of an engine, usually used for performance racing), on roads is illegal. Loud exhausts are not allowed. Decibel levels must remain within prescribed limits.

Head if properly done, gives no problem at all. One thing specific to Honda engines is they don't work with silicone head gasket. They need metallic head gasket of specific thickness as specified. plus contact faces just need to b cleaned properly, no facing process or sanding should be done which generally Indian lathe operators do, which leads to problems. And that so called japani engine comes in a wooden package and no doubt it's a gem. But yours I highly doubt is a Japanese one, sorry mate.

Is there any procedure for engine swapping??? That means should we need to inform RTO before swapping???
Central Govt. MVD rule stipulates prior approval; but nobody is saying whether any such swapping done after 2019. I am also in search of the procedure as well as about using closely similar same fuel engine with higher HP (nowadays same CC engines are having double HP than that of old puney ones).
