@@GranddaddyGamer Got to day 4 and realised I'd made a few mistakes. Wasn't too sure how much i had hindered my progress so i decided to experiment and treat the play through as a tutorial. It ended with me in the jaws of a shark on day 7 so I booted up a fresh play through and now I'm on day 15 and doing much better. Having a ton of fun.
@@jakebarwell1086 yeah also a useful tip i didn't realize untill later in the game is the smaller sharks that are around most islands are actually harmless its tiger sharks (the ones that look like spotted great whites) you have to look out for around islands
Being in the shade gives the same amount of SPF as being in the water, you just got to make sure in the top right of the watch it says UV: NONE. Great video tho! :D
@@GranddaddyGamer also if you plan on moving palm leaves, dont break the palm bunch thing from the top of the tree cause you can carry 4 of those in one spot (each thing is 5 palm leaves) super easy to save space that way :D at least on the pc version, not too sure of console tho
Depending on the shade it doesnt work. If it's supposed to. The only thing that says NONE on spf is mountains, trees you cant chop down, your house and being under water.

I,m a new player ons PS4 and i new that i did not have to have the items in my inventory but i still always go looking for the fibers in the bushes next to a yuka tree while i dont have to to make a lashing , thanks fot teaching me\e and reminding me of that! spf tip -> also awesome and the axe tip is nice too, i always have the axe in my quick inventory.... but the i can not check the durability, right (i have to remove it to normal inventory to check and that is anoying)
U have to click on your little hut.. you can save OR sleep. Plus you can only sleep at night, and if you wait most of the night before you try and sleep it will not let you.
@@mattymo56 yeh man some are hamless and won't attack but watch out for the bigger ones. Tigers, bulls, great whites etc you'll notice they're bigger and a certain sound track will play.
This game is garbage. They should have issued a warning or even named the thing something different because you cant do a lot of stuff in the ps4 version of this game that you can do in the pc version. I only bought it because I watched dudes play it on pc. I feel ripped off. We need shelves for our containers. On the raft also. But noooo. They added vibration for the controller when you're chopping wood. Wtf is that???
Yup glaring differences between PC and Console. Most differences could be in console easy. Unfortunately this happens alot when games come to console that were created for PC.

Thank you for the kind comments sir! That may very well be sir, however in my experience whenever i go swimming, i start cooling down immediately.

No one says how to rest when tired but the thing won't let u sleep yet.. 😑 So aggravating
