Isn't the three year limited subscription the biggest change? Maybe I've misunderstood, but I don't want software that stops working after three years.
I found the 'three year license' was a bit alarming. I'm sure at some point in a future version they will change to a monthly subscription like Adobe Premiere.
I've been a user of Corel Video Studio for at least 15 years. I've upgraded every other year. 2024 was my upgrade year, but they did not upgrade. I called the corporate offices and they were of ZERO help on when the next upgrade is coming out. So, I'm really considering moving to 2025 Premier Elements. I'm no pro for sure, but I've got over 150 videos on TH-cam and mostly make these videos for myself and of course anyone that wants to view them. I just got a Insta360 X4. It comes with its own software for videos, but after using their software, I would plan to move it into Premier Elements 2025 to finish the video. Two questions - Does PE2025 handle 360 videos well and, can any of my previous projects made in Corel be moved into PE2025? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Insta360's web site doesn't offer clear specs on the video format it shoots in, so I can't say for sure. But you can download the free trial of Premiere Elements and give it a test run. That said, you will definitely NOT be able to open a Corel project in Premiere Elements.
Hello, coming from Premier elements 2018, is the new 2025 elements totally different that i have to re learn? I only use there elements program for family events and vacation nothing fancy as compared to what the Premier Pro offers and the steep learning curve you need..
Although the interface is similar to Pro, the functions of the program itself are not that different from earlier versions of Elements. Have you checked out my Basic Training for Premiere Elements 2025 videos?

My premiere elements 2023 does not handle 4K 60 fps very well from my GoPro. Is the 2025 version any better for 4K 60 fps editing?
I'd recommend you download the free trial and give it a test drive with your actual footage.

Does 2025 has Hardware Encoding? or is this still a feature of Pro?
Technically, no. It does not. Not like Pro.
Yes it does.

Hi Steve. Will the books be available for this version?
There are no plans to release a book at this time, unfortunately.
@@sgrisetti Sorry to hear that. Your books were fantastic.
Do you know of alternative options to learn the program other than the books?
Not at this point. No.
@@sgrisetti Thank you Steve
Is the source monitor new, or did that appear in earlier versions ?
It's always been a part of the program as the Clip Monitor.
