- The MacMaster is at Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Orlando Florida in The United States at a Restaurant that specialises in Breakfast and for a change a nice breakfast, however yet again the price was astronomical compared to 2 years ago! What do you think to the price and why are prices increasing in America and why is the cost of living increasing?

Lee - I couldn't agree more on those cheap & nasty milk/cream cartons, when they appeared I thought it's going to be cheap & nasty - well it certainly wasn't cheap & to be fair it looked OK - I'd give it 7.5 - I'm surprised that you can't get a latte etc, it's like going back in time, except for the prices of course !
Great video Lee and Kelly. The food looked good. Couldn't fault it. You 2 make an amazing team. I liked the plates and the cup I dont suppose I could put an order in for a six place setting ? Name your price lol. The hair dryer looks dodgy. Surely they check things like that before someone takes up a room. I guess the hotels take on Quality is different to ours.
I think that, that was a tasty looking breakfast. I'll be eating mine in an hour or so here at home (get up Pauline!) in NSW Australia. Always enjoy your vlogs & nice to meet you, Kelly.

I’ve had 2 holidays there this year and I noticed it.whereas previous dec 2019 seemed much cheaper.
F.Y.I. Orange slice on breakfast plate in America is after breakfast treat that you suck on to cleanse your palate (not squeeze on your food like a lemon on a fish & chip plate). Just saying...
Food looked very appealing..if a bit expensive to say the least..Kelly has slotted in very nicely in your reviews & I think she has helped to make them even better as you have good banter with each other...keep up the excellent 'channel' sir.
Should do a vlog walking around Dollar Tree. Love getting bits and bobs from there to take to the theme parks. Everything a Dollar as well.

For Breakfast over there…. We LOVE a good SIZZLERS Buffet Breakfast. Cheap and fills us up for the day ready for the Parks.

I think Kelly is great and real (not fake and putting on some persona for the camera). I mean it must be tricky being on screen with you Lee with your boundless energy and enthusiasm, but Kelly is clearly smart and has a great dry sense of humour. I did also click on her own channel and watched her first video. Fascinating, really well told. Lee, great communication skills must run in your family, Kelly’s are totally different from yours IMO but just as brilliant. I would highly recommend having a watch of it. I love your channel Lee, puts a smile on my face every day even when the skies are sometimes cloudy! All best

If you’re looking for cheap eats around Orlando, then Ponderosa was always decent…about $12-$15 for a steak and an all you can eat buffet…i believe the International Drive location closed, but still open In Kissimmee on 192

The last time we had breakfast in the USA was at a diner in Anaheim. It was very nice. Our waitress had an unusual accent so I asked her where she came from & she said "Wales" - huzzah.
If I'm not mistaken your awful hotel is near the Fire Station on International Drive & yes it's cheap & cheerful. Keke's certainly serve LARGE breakfast's, actually everything they serve in America is Large. what happened to those Restaurants in Orlando that offer all you can eat for $6.99 don't tell me they've all gone, they where great. Another great Vlog Lee. Onwards, I'm going to have buy that T-Shirt as well.

Thankfully some decent food and a good venue. I assume they use those plastic milks to save money. Those seat booths remind me of the opening scene in “Pulp Fiction”. Very American.
Nothing worse than “greasy looking food” and your dish did look clean. Clean is a word I always use when considering not just the taste of the food but the aesthetic of it. By the way how does anyone pay the rent/mortgage on such small tips?? I assume property is cheaper over there?
Kelly has been a lovely edition I must say. This channel is family friendly and always on the right side of “naughty”.😂. Montage music was a good fit for this. I give it a 7 out of 10. Maybe try a cheap cafe next time?

Hi Lee, good to see normal coffee, no flat white, frothed with syrup it’s endless. The breakfast looked good, and I love fried potatoes. They have a nice diner over in Celebration? Bit more upmarket over there.

Hiya Lee! Glad to see you had something decent for a change. The omelette is not something I’d go for but we’re all different and know our likes and dislikes. We’d be a bit boring if we went for the same thing. I don’t mind tomatoes on an omelette at all. Didn’t like the look of the potatoes due to liking my food well done. They were a little too under cooked for my liking. But as long as you enjoyed it that’s the main thing 😘👍🏻
They were a bit undercooked to be honest. The crispy ones were tasty though
It might not be quality inn there, but remember some of us would give our right arm to be there lol. Im being silly Mac, but I would happily stay there for a few weeks :-)

If you are in International Drive then try a buffet breakfast, always my favourite when out there! Golden Corral.is one, all you can eat and loads of food for about $10
Used to pop into Keke’s for breakfast, when shopping early at the Millenia Mall. As you say, quite expensive!

A good vlog this one.
The whole meal looked incredibly good and plenty of it as well. I will agree with Kelly's observation that the potatoes did look undercooked. The omelette looked spot on and full of flavour.
The controversial milk pots, hmmmm. From a business POV they could be more economical to use than jugs of milk. There's less wastage of milk for starters which lowers the restaurant's costs and those pots could surely be recycled so they're not really that bad if they can be.
Price wise it was a little bit high (what's the tax rate?) but I don't mind paying if it's good.
My score was 8.2.
Yeh nice enough, but even in the UK, prices are going up everywhere, it Will come to a point where people will just not be able to eat out or at least not eat out as regular as they may or did do
we went texas 2 years ago and went new york a couple of weeks ago and the prices have definately shot up

I said it before and I’ll say it again I do love the Florida sunshine and heat🌞. That place looked much better than Friendlies that’s for sure. For a start it looked so much more busier. You can generally tell a good place if it’s busy. If it ain’t, avoid! You’re right about that sausage Lee it looked anemic and undercooked. Never seen a orange slice before on a breakfast but perhaps it’s an American thing. Still nice review as ever.👍

Love those cups, they are so cool and the breakfast as a whole looked well presented. That bacon looked cooked just right and crispy, and well those sausages nahh looked a little bit on the pale side to me. Score 7.5

I’d give it an 8 on presentation and looks( all I had was some instant oatmeal this morning, so that might be coloring my opinion!) plus a nice place to enjoy your meal without Televisions blaring sports or news!

A great breakfast, love omelettes. Fresh tomato ok in omelettes. All looked fresh and well presented. Yes the sausages looked a little anemic, no browning. You cleaned your plate up. Price a tad high but not too bad for USA. 8 from me.
All those pancake options, and not one with just plain lemon and sugar (and I assume they don't do crapes).
Meals looked okay, egg a little radioactive... and potatoes for breakfast is a no-no. 🙂
Was expecting you to say "HOW MUCH!?" in the middle of the restaurant, when you go the bill. 😀

Always used to go to the Golden Corals in Kisiimee for breakfast. Buffet style as much as you want. Back in 2000. If they're still around

Whilst you have been away in the States, I have been experimenting with sausages of all shapes and sizes.
I have been trying to get to the bottom of the bent sausage phenomenon.
I have discovered that you are much more likely to get a bend, when they are fried or grilled, as opposed to oven cooking.
I have reached the conclusion that when sudden Intense heat is applied, this results in the sausage skin shrinking quickly, which creates the bend.
When they are cooked in the oven, it is a much more gradual heat.
(They get much more evenly browned).
If you look back at your previous videos, your bent sausages appeared to be fried (partially cooked) in my opinion.
I have tried with cheap and expensive award winning butchers sausages.
Even using a commercial griddle.
The fatter sausages bent the most, as the skins were thicker and expanded more.
I was just curious haha 😂

@@nige3801 Best way to cook them is in pre-heated oven at 180c/190gas.
Turning every 5 minutes for 15-20 minutes. (Won't bend) but will be nice and evenly browned and all the fat drained out.
Oven cooked sausages taste the best.

It did look nice it wasn't what I was expecting when you said you were having an Omelet it looked better I mean than I was expecting. When you ask for an Omelet over here you wouldn't get that out it that lol. I would give it an 8.5 on looks anyway. It's strange in America how it can be cold in some parts but then warm in the others. It's like having Winter and Summer at the same time in the same country. Wish Britain was like that you could just go to the warm part 🤣.
Nicely spread out to make it look more than it is, but I could enjoy that - until the bill comes!!
A similar restaurant (why do they call them cafes in USA) here in Reno has its basic breakfast (bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast - no coffee) for 13.49 plus tax plus tip which runs out at a total of about 13 pounds 50 in the UK - for a basic breakfast without coffee. So you got a better deal than I can get here.

Try some toasted ham and cheese toast sandwich with a an fried egg on top, very filling and pleasing, catsup or HP sauce adds the spicing, "Rum Tot" should be re-introduced as British Naval Rum is the best... 😮😊

Try and Golden Corral near your Quality Inn. (Think I stayed in that same room over 30 years. Probably the same hair dryer.) Breakfast Buffet is excellent and cheap.

When I was in NYC all the breakfasts were appalling. Undercooked potato seems to be a theme there, it was rank and put me off! Not good at all. I'll stick to good ol' British breakfasts.

You’ve got to try a Racetrac petrol station for a cheap breakfast or lunch. Can’t be beaten.
Average teachers salary UK £28,000. Average teachers salary US $61000. Also when Brits are in the US we are paying in dollars which in the good old days used to be almost 2 dollars to one pound. Now its as low as 1.30. Average large breakfast/lunch in the UK is around £8 including tea or coffee. In the UK supermarket lunch deals can be under £4 to take away. That's why Brits are finding the US very pricy at the moment and why Americans visiting the UK don't feel like they have encountered day light robbery like they used to.
