HZD be like "ok here's some Chargers, Grazers (during proving), and some Watchers, nothing too crazy" then the Corrupter shows up jumping everywhere and throwing shit.
I'm so glad when I saw that the Corruptor was in this game. I remember this and the Deathbringer from Zero dawn because they gave me a run for my life. I also like the battle theme of the Corruptor here, sounds very ancient with a bit of techno which makes sense since most of them went extinct after defeating Hades.
It's a shame we didn't fight in Forbidden West against Deathbringer. Well, we will have Horizon 3. Stay vigilant, marshal! Nemesis incoming! And in comparison to it HADES and his Eclipse along with reawakened machines from Zero Dawn is just nothing but a small recon team.
Remember people, back during the time of the "Old Ones" there were millions of these things and thousands of Kopeshes an Horus units... Anything not food is a threat, then the former afterwards... It's a terrifying take on an end of the world scenario.
I'm still sad that we didn't get to fight a Deathbringer on Forbidden West... not even in Ted Faro's Tomb Quest... I know that in Zero Dawn we stopped Hades from waking up all Faro's robots that were asleep over the world, but it would had been nice that there were few left inside his hidden place. Deathbringers are so cool and so lethal lol
Deathbringers are like the only unique machines to not return from the first game. Tramplers, Sawtooths, Broadheads, Striders and Watchers also don’t appear, but Tramplers are just baby Behemoths, Sawtooths are just baby Ravagers, Broadheads and Striders are just Charger clones and Watchers are just inferior Red-Eye Watchers. So I would assume there’s a good reason they didn’t include the Deathbringer.
@@The_Story_Of_Us yeah you are right both games explained that Hepheasthus always created a stronger machine when he couldn't beat his opponents or death threats... So that could mean that he stop making the old inferior machines and just stayed with the ones that we see in the game. And yeah i'm gonna miss the Deathbringers :(
@@jorgechavarria4799 Yeah that, but Hephaestus was never programmed to make those machines, plus it has an instinct due to its nature to make animal-like machines because it did so for centuries when it was a part of GAIA and those machines are far more advanced than Corruptors and Deathbringers. But I’m talking about why there wasn’t a Deathbringer boss fight in Thebes, Ted Faro’s bunker., where you fight the two Corruptors he left as guardians, ones the Swarm never hacked. I don’t know why that is but I’m assuming there’s a good reason for it since most other machines from the first game make a comeback (even the Corruptors show up for this one single encounter).
I think what is considered the "Calm" version of this song is freaking awesome and it's a shame I can't find it anywhere. This plays specifically when you're about to download the Omega Clearance.
@@HorizonThemes No unfortunately, I remembered hearing that waiting for the part I'm talking about to kick in, but it never came. The one I'm talking about is not as "Calm" as that one lol. It's a bit faster paced and has more of that distorted bass sound going on. If you could find it, that would be great!!

Considering how Thebes took (heavy?) inspiration from Egyptian architecture/design(just look at some of the glyphs found on walls), that's not too surprising. Also consider the theme running in off-combat scenes, which are shared in both soundtracks. Although I don't like thinking on the time you spend in Thebes too much, that whole place is just... wrong. Even though you know that whatever you're going to find there won't be pretty, it's worse than anything you could imagine. The turn the game took there was really dark. Especially Faro's final fate struck me as especially grim, and... honestly not very pleasurable to think about. No one deserves that kind of thing to happen to them, even the possibly worst person in the entire world.
Cause he was that selfish and cared only for himself bro. Literally the machines that killed the whole world and he did that dirty move to have them too there.
@@jorgechavarria4799 This, and he used to find pride in the machines he had a hand in creating, until they went rogue and started destroying all life on Earth. So it makes sense he would have them in his personal doomsday bunker. Heck, I was expecting a Deathbringer to be down there as well. Ted Faro as depicted post-Faro plague outbreak is unstable, on top of his narcissist and self-absorbed behavior. It's not a very good combination, and, well... Thebes is literally an expression of all that. Statues, including a literal giant copy of Ted himself, gold trimmings everywhere except for a few places, the entire place rigged to kill everyone inside should he ever die, kill switches installed in people's brains, his attempts to become immortal(which thankfully failed, though I still don't think he deserved his fate, as much as I hate the man). I could go on.
I Am cofusing if Hades activate the plague of faro dont see deathbringer and scarabs intact only destroy of course un the bandit camp see scarabs but no deatbringer is this one DLC for part of guerrilla?
One of my favorite soundtrack and moments in this Masterpiece 😍😎Thanks for this ps:The whole soundtrack named Entombed by Joris de Man
I will never forget that first corruptor fight at Mother's Watch. That fight was crazy
Those rocks getting at me all the time lol 🤣🤣

… I just realized the pun, and why the old robots official names are all Egypt themed.
Cheeky f-ker, wasn’t he?

A little dissappointing that it didn't have some parts of it's theme from the previous game like the eclipse, but this slaps like hell too.

I forgot to scan the corruptor now I have to do the arena challenge 😩
I also had to go back & do a few of those because of missed scans & the one with the scorchers was a pain to do.
Yeah the scorchers are annoying alright, especially since you have to deal with maybe the thunderjaw, slaughterspine or slitherfang, I can't remember.

Do you realized that Faro's fate and shape is somehow similar to Richard Grey or Master from first Fallout?🤔

The 'Entombed' theme is similar to the one here but the battle theme 8 percussion is not present.
