    Great video mate and thanks for the detailed walkthrough. Unlimited sample length and stereo samples (really miss this on the Digitakt) is really awesome on such a tiny device

      Thanks - I think I like it most of all with the DT because it is enhancing an already incredible synth. I just wish I had spent more than a few seconds making a proper FM drum loop for the tutorial to do it justice instead of the first sounds I found in the pool 😅

    It did give a new perspective. Beautiful demo and sounds you made there.

      @Maxton Johan Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
      Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

    Thanks, thnking of pairing my DN with blackbox, looks like it might just work for my purposes...how about running DN into Bbox for live looping, and then Bbox back into DN to process it all with overdrive and mix together? i guess u'd need to use the headhone out or a laptop with overbridge...Another scenario:if u plug the DN into Bbox, can u use different output on it to send audio tracks to the mixer right? Sorry if i'm blurry, too excited, hehe.

      DN looping into black box definitely works well as I demo in the vid. And as you say, you then have options to set the audio outs to your mixer. As for running DN to BB to DN I am a bit skeptical about feedback loop issues so be careful there

    Nice...I’m going to try something similar with iPad apps. Inspiring, thank you 🙏

    Just ordered a black box and had a orba on the way wonder if ya can run midi usb and use orba as a small synthesis controller great vid subbed

    One more question: how tight is the sync? There's quite a few people writing on 1010 forums that they have problems making blackbox play nicely with other gear, but most of those posts are a couple of years old by now so i'm hoping it was all solved already...

    • @RDiefenbach
      @RDiefenbach  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally didn't encounter sync issues but I wasn't playing hour long sets or anything

    how to you get your loop to auto replay on the blackbox?

    • @RDiefenbach
      @RDiefenbach  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have it any longer as I was only borrowing from Cuckoo but it was the default setting from memory. Sorry that I can't go back and check for you!

      I just figured out that if you plug in the USB from the black box into the digatone you can build midi pattern on the blackbox them record them without having to to the switch

    Very nice, this is what I do. th-cam.com/video/B__qOq55R_E/w-d-xo.html
    My looper has latency, that's why looping more than one groove from my a4 to my looper is difficult. What about the latency of the Blackbox. If you loop some closed hh, then hear the loop and the hh from your digitone........ is there any latency (like with my rc500), or is there no latency, like with the Octatrack?
    another question (sorry) is there a max loop lengt, and do I have to set the loop length? Can I just toggle loop on and toggle loop off, (quantized)?

    • @RDiefenbach

      Sorry for the slow reply but I didn't experience latency personally
