That's the beauty of AC. Every single game after 2 was supposed to be a DLC. Actually that's a Ubisoft staple. Assassin's Creed 1 itself was supposed to be a spinoff/DLC for Prince of Persia.
The Parkour was pretty sick, but I still want like a tweak or patch that makes Basim actually live up to his legacy of being the fastest and most agile Assassins. Maybe once Mirage comes to steam the modders will cook something up.
Well, PC players have the advantage of having mods. Speaking of, modders are becoming really good at their stuff, for instance the guy responsible for back eject mod made it so you can manually jump! That's some cool ass stuff!
@@SirJacobFrye68 I've always said, there's two mad lad groups in gaming, speed runners and modders. These two groups will just absolutely destroy you, your perception of reality and everything else.

I don't get it, to me AC games could use horizontal wall run, especially since we can't manually jump anymore. Being able to wall run over a big gap certainly would add some cool factor points.
@@SirJacobFrye68 the problem is that no one is really being vocal about it. It should have been added like yesterday plus the manual jump and directional reach like in the first games should also come back

Diagonal wall run can be done from any narrow object, be it fence, beam, or metal bar. I do that by holding W and A or D buttons while moving directly towards the wall. As for diagonal wall runs while running...well, that's another story. Also, thank you for your kind words ❤️
@@SirJacobFrye68 not just legs, balance and speed. (which strengthens the fact that he’s the fastest Assassin) it would’ve been amazing if Ubisoft implemented that mechanic and wove it into the story as well solidifying Basim’s speed in the Assassin history books
The parkour mod is pretty fun, not gonna lie. The Origins version must be my favourite, as it allows you to actually vault through things and only slightly tweaks the experience. As for Odyssey, I don't know. I gotta download this one, but I don't have enough disk space.
While I liked the run, I don't see how it shows Basim being fast. He is moving at the same speed as any other assassin before and after him so far. Yes, you can do that stuff in Mirage. Luckily Ubisoft Bordeaux made the smart thing and decided to tweak the game's parkour after the famous side ejects mod came out.
I'd like to record some Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla footage, because we've got tons of Unity videos out there and not enough post-Unity ones on TH-cam. People need to know that all it takes is a bit of passion.

What is that even supposed to mean in the context of parkouring in AC
0:50 That was so damn smooth, even the game acknowledged it with a musical que.
That que was perfectly timed. Almost as if the game itself was impressed.
I dont think you can even do that in unity
