I think this is a great idea! If nothing else, will be a good way to get some exercise. Will you also be keeping track of how many battery packs you go through? Maybe also a comprehensive list of parts used to keep it running?
Nope. I put another 1.4 miles on it this evening after resetting everything. The servo just doesn’t even try. Oh well. I’ll pull one out of my stock. No harm, no foul.

@@10thScaleGarage Thanks! I wonder about the position resolution. Going for a hike or long walk like you did = good Crawling at an event, or in my backyard = ??? Have you tried seeing if it will add up distance while you drive around in a small space?
Cool idea man and the rover body is one of their best. You can turn that into a very good looking rig, I don't know the chassis and the drive train or axles that well on the charisma but he didn't say your goal was to shred the roughest rocks in the country so I think you picked a good vehicle
You are exactly right! The dual rate was turned down, but the servo did the same thing after I replaced the TX/RX. I put a regular 20kg all metal gear servo in it and the dang thing works great now.

Yes! I’ve got a list.
I do like the idea. I saw someone else on IG showing his mileage on his RC😎👍
Did you figure out steering issue?

I put 5.1 miles on my SCX10 55 Ford truck in the last two days. Lol

I am thinking to buy one 😁 I don't have anything off road can you check if it's any good because I see you have more off road RC

Hello nice 🙏👍
Thanks Fred Fred.
Brother, you are a genius with your videos man! Keep up the awesome work!👍🏾👏🏾👊🏾
HA! IDK about genius, but thanks bro!
The steering rate adjustment is near the throttle on a dile If you spin it all the way to the right then you will get max steering
You’re right! That was the first thing I tried. Unfortunately though, the servo was just dead. No big deal.
Nice car
Is it still going? Keeping an old land Rover moving can be a struggle I know lol
Yes! About 390 miles on it.
What was the trip computer called.

The car looks great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks bro! I appreciate it!
Cool idea, can't wait to see how long it takes
Me either. I’m guessing well over a year if I’m walking behind it the whole way.
@@10thScaleGarage lol,👍✌
That body looks dope!
Thanks! I agree!
Did you try adjusting the steering end point using the wheel by your thumb? It's easy to turn it down without realising. Not a great design really.
