You can tell who sharpens their knives by how they cut their paper. The ones that sharpen a lot cut it right and those who don't (bugout guy) just jam the knife into the paper.
Also the fingernail test.. you dont see a lot do it.
If it shaves then its razor sharp, the paper test is basically bs, i can cut paper with my 1 year old sh knife that struggles to cut a tomato.

The problem with pulling put a knife in a fight is, you better know how to use it before some who does takes it off you. I saw plenty of guys with plenty of knives in video. Didn't see many who would know how to use one if they pulled one?

I’m 14 with an extremely strong passion for knives. No one gets why I have so many knives for being 14. My first kind of high end knife is a kershaw launch 5 I got about a month ago. I just ordered my first super high end knife from bladehq. A ZT 0055BLK 20CV. I’m so excited for when it arrives later this week!

I carry a pt24/7 g2 in .45 with a 12 round magazine. My FIL gives me shit for it, until were at the range and i hand him his ass over and over.

Cole Adair peace of mind, I usually carry 2 and I work in a warehouse so yeah 3 is a bit of overkill but I think it’s because they know they’re going to get pocket checked lol

I have to agree. It is what the whole work is about so you want the employees to like what they do (which is awesome, who doesn’t wish they worked there?) but I use mine at work everyday and only carry the one: Cold Steel ProLite Tanto.
Because the knives are more of a collectable with some practical value. Rarely if ever do they "need" the knives, it's just a hobby they share.

Thing is, laws are wonderfully vague. What exactly do they mean by "covered or concealed"? Not allowed to be stuffed in your pocket or pants? I reckon it may mean that and what's the point of a butterfly knife if you can only have one when it's dangling out of your pockets or pants.

Bear Martin it’s not just for self defense. They’re knife guys, so they carry several for different purposes but also just because they like knives.
I bought a Buck 55 about 15 years ago. Now, after having purchased several Spydercos, Benchmades, GEC's etc in the interim, the 55 is still in my pocket most days.
I carry a 55 as a secondary knife as well. Great little knife!

I carry one hunting, and also everywhere else, but yeah, I agree, knives aren't incredibly useful. Unless you are outdoors, knives aren't that helpful

But a full blown fixed blade hell no....and what even worse are those oversized folders.
If viewing knives as tools there are many reasons to carry. Many knives (especially traditional knives) were designed for specific tasks. I carry a mutitool when working and a folding pocket knife when not working. While many days may pass that i never use the pocket knife the times I do need it I am glad to have it. I also grew up with everyone carrying pocket knives or wearing knives on their belts but they were used for working, camping, fishing, etc.
