Well, it's not just strength and determination, Ben - when you grow up you're a bigger person so you have longer arms and stand taller above the cauliflower when you bend down to twist it. That gives you more of something called leverage, which "makes" you stronger than if you were a person who has the same strength in a smaller body, and you get to learn all about leverage in Science, using Math! It helps describe how and why the world around us works the way it does! Including in the garden and the kitchen and even at the dinner table.♥ It's helping your dad with pretty much everything he's doing in the treehouse right now, in a bunch of different ways.

But I don't see the acceptance and love in the new wave of churches preaching some strange things - some actually not teaching the words of Jesus but instead racism, disrespect for fellow man. I stopped going to a building called church and now foster my relationship with my Creator in nature and in the garden. I'm happy to say you and your family live the teachings of Jesus. And Jess, you have a lovely man. I'm so happy for your sons seeing a great example of husband and father. Also they learn that women are to be respected - they are life bearers and hold wisdom that is equally as important and relevant as the male models in their lives. You both have done well! I hope that you video pickling the beautiful cauliflower for The Farmers Table. I have only picked sauerkraut, red onions and watermelon rinds. They all turned out great. But I really want to make a mix of pickled vegetables like the Italian version of Giardiniera.
Years ago my neighbour used to make up baskets from her garden preserves and jams to give out as gifts. I loved being on the receiving end of one of the gift baskets.
I so love how Ben enjoys being with you with the animals and in the garden. He’s a precious farmer boy! My son and daughter in law’s children adore harvesting and eating fresh fruits and veggies! The coffee tastes even better when you first pour the hot water overJUST the filter and get rid of the glues in the filter paper as much as you can. When it is all finished dripping, discard the water and glue residues. Move the wet filter and holder to the coffee cup you'll be drinking out of THEN and only then add the coffee grounds. Moisten them slightly so they adhere to the base and then pour in the rest of the hot water to begin the drip process.
