I backtrack to a lot of areas to kill extra respawns of enemies. - As a general rule for rooms that have infinite respawns, I clear the enemies at least once. - In the airport area, three connected "outside" rooms near the bridge infinitely respawn bats in the same spot whenever you re-enter the room. I only kill them once here (0:21:15). In the two other rooms, it's the same spawn but the bats usually get stuck or have trouble reaching you, so I found that room to be the most convenient one to fight them. - In some rooms like the graveyard (0:00:46) and this room (0:11:44), enemies infinitely respawn once you reach a certain distance away from it. For the graveyard, I kill the initial enemies on the way back to get the briefcase and the first wave of respawns once I return for Rodrigo. For the other room, I kill 3 respawned waves of enemies (they're also randomly placed). - In the metal detector room, I prevent zombies from breaking the windows here at first by triggering the alarm (0:09:41). However it doesn't affect "kill all" because the three zombies will be killed here later when I return for Rodrigo (1:00:12). - The spider below in this room (1:35:50) can't be killed. It's the spider that will turn into the Giant Black Widow for Chris' scenario. - The zombie at 1:37:08 only activates for Chris later when you use the lighter. - 3 moths infinitely respawn in this room (1:40:44) every time you re-enter the room. - In Chris' island sections, I trigger all optional hunter encounters. I also get detected in each room with spotters once to trigger hunters. Technically one spotter in the bottom floor can trigger a sweeper or a hunter depending on key item progression. I chose to trigger just one spawn though as it's very inconvenient to backtrack to that room and doing it twice would be too much. - The ants in this room (2:31:25) infinitely respawn when you re-enter this area. - Mutated Steve can't be killed or incapacitated. You can only escape that fight. - There's technically one zombie that is impossible to trigger in a no damage run since it requires Claire to be infected by Nosferatu. - Let me know if there's any spawn I might have missed. There are a lot of weird respawn triggers or spawn conditions.
@@QueenSydon I think it's intentional. There are too many designs around the knife for it to be coincidental. The zombie knockdown after a lunge, the Nosferatu special kill, how the character automatically auto-aims at the angle to get the best benefit of the knife, how the knife is very convenient for certain fights like Tyrant 1 and Alexia 1 (both which are high risk high reward situations). It's also present in every version of the game as far as I'm aware.
If I’m being honest this is my favorite of the classic games.. it’s the one I put the most hours of the classics and the soundtrack is a banger! Even if the gameplay is frustrating at times
It’s a good game but it’s bad for no damage and a little rigid with a lot of rooms having only one uninteresting solution in mind. This game is a mixed bag for me. It has some really creative designs here and there but it also has a collection of some of the most annoying enemy designs. And Alexia 2 is easily one of the dumbest and most messed up fights in the series. I love the soundtrack here too, definitely one of the best in the series.
The resident evil goat is at it again. Man I died like 25x my first playtroughof this game a few years back. At least I didn’t reset the game I finished that save file stupid item box and Claire taking all my ammo at the end of the game laughs
Great game. I think it polarised opinions at the time because it was hard. And if you loaded Claire up for the Nosferatu fight, you made Chris's run way harder. And didn't leave the fire extinguisher in a box...
Yeah the character switch moments are really terribly designed for a first playthrough since they never hint you or explain how it works. It can put you in a really awful situation.
@@Aether2125The character switch is badly designed, but to be fair, Chris's section is beatable without any of Claire's items. That includes the healing items and killing the Gulp Worm. But for the first time players, it would be rough. Zero's character switch is way worse in my opinion.
@@Fedor_Kisliakov I don't find that one too bad because Prototyrant is designed for knife only and you're given a magnum in the cable car. Then you just have to dodge a couple of zombies and you regroup with Billy. The most hated moment in Zero is probably the split section after the giant bat boss. In a first playthrough if you send Billy up there and you haven't prepared Rebecca's chemical set correctly (which you were never hinted about), you will have to backtrack to the training facility and deal with several annoying enemies that just spawn for no reason. I will say though CVX's character switch is properly placed for repeat playthroughs. It's funny how CVX and Zero have a lot in common when it comes to BS designs. xD
It’s the one that deserves it the most out of the mainline ones right now. It doesn’t even have an official PC version. I consider it an important game for the lore of the series too.
How long does it take you on average to practice these and get a successful run in? I know there’s a lot involved with routing, developing strats, etc.
May i ask you something...deep inside...don't you feel your heart racing during a run like this? I mean no damage runs even thought hard you can simply just restart from the last/Save checkpoint...but a no save run? Especially a no damage one as well? Don't you just feel like screaming from the inside during theses close moments? Anyway good job And if my english was bad...oh well i am from portugal.
I do get a bit nervous in my first no save no damage completions. Especially when the run is kind of long. You can tell I hesitated during Alexia 2 fight when I went to the menu to stop and think for like 5 seconds. 😂

I feel so good watching your amazing videos.

The knife in this game is powerful and useful.
It is by far the most useful and effective knife out of the classic RE games.
I still often wonder if that was intentional, or a bug. Either way, I'm glad it's the way it is lol

Flawless Victory!, please try RE4 Remake Nightmare mod
Клэр Рэдфильд столько бегала, прыгала и сражалась в прошлой части игры, что в этой, повзрослела сразу на десять лет!😊

This and Nemesis are the most fun of the classic games to do kill all enemies just because of the amount of ammo and guns they give you

@Aether2125 I agree with you
Do you plan on doing a Dino crisis run?
I like the second Dino Crisis and could work on it at some point. The first game is a bit tedious and a puzzle simulator for me.
wonder if capcom will remake this
They should in my opinion.
How long does it take you on average to practice these and get a successful run in? I know there’s a lot involved with routing, developing strats, etc.
About 5 days to route and learn about all enemy spawns. Around 6 days of attempts until I got this run.

Can the fire hurt you? (the fire where you had to push the box over it)
