They all look delicious Catherine. This brings me back when I was in my 20s and worked at Hickory Farms in the mall. My Mom used to make her own cheese balls for Christmas.
I would love to try each one, but ranch and bacon is a favorite flavor of mine, so that would probably be my first one to try. I never thought to make my own cheese logs, but now you have me inspired to try! Thank you!😁
My favorite is finely chopped green olives, marinated artichokes, and dill pickles, mixed into softened cream cheese along with a teaspoon of ranch dressing mix
I love cheese logs or cheese balls. Great for a party or when you have friends over to watch a movie or when you’re just sitting around in your jammies binge watching your favorite show.
I'm still catching up on your videos and having a ball looking at all the wonderful things you make. I make an olive pimento cheese spread. I use cream cheese, grated cheddar cheese and green olives. I mix it up in a food processor. It reminds you of the little jars of the olive pimento spread we used to get at grocery stores but it's so much better. I love the combinations you did in your cheese logs. I really like the savory tang of the cheese mixed with the sweet components. Oh, and nuts! Yes please.
I think the last one would be my favorite. I don't believe I have ever tried a cheese log. Your board looked great with the displayed cheese logs and crackers.
WOW!!!! I’m looking for something different to try for the holidays and I think I have found the recipe these look delicious and definitely am going to give them a try thanks Catherine👍
Your cheese logs look so delicious..I never thought to make my own.great idea.thank you for the recipes.good wishes and God's blessings to you and your family 😇💘💚🌻💛😊😇🧡🏵️🧡💚💛🏵️
This is my second time watching , I have bought all the ingredients and are making these for our Family get together Wednesday night before Thanksgiving day, We do all finger food that night and during the day Thanksgiving day Then We eat dinner around 6 for Thanksgiving, I have so much enjoyed watching you this past year, I have made so many of your recipes and my family has never been disappointed, Thank you, I wishing your family a blessed Thanksgiving
Love cheese logs! Great presentation at the end! They all look delicious to me. Without tasting them, I would have to choose the one with bacon, because... BACON! Haha. Great video, Catherine!
I remember those “boxes”. These logs look sooo delicious. Each of these flavors are so unique and easy to make. All of them would be wonderful appetizers. 👍😋🧀🍽🎄⛄️ like the white cheddar log, but they are all wonderful .
Wow, all of the logs look great! My favorite would be the goat chesse! As I watched in my head, I changed cream cheese & shredded cheeses to non-dairy cheesees! ( I Have an actual allergy to dairy☹) Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
I would change them to my liking, more cranberries on the first one and something on top of the stark white one at the end. But otherwise they all look good, I would make all three logs. I have never seen bacon flavoured cheese for sale up here so I would choose that one as a favourite.
My mother in law made a cheese ball that was really tasty, it called for cream cheese of course, pineapple, green pepper and pimento then rolled in whole pecans
@@CatherinesPlates could you please show us on your channel the recipe? I don't remember how its made and I'm not with that person to ask her. I would really appreciate it. Thank you
Hi Catherine, those logs look delicious. Perfect to put out for appetizers. Not sure if I asked you this question before but since you do a video almost every day what do you do with all the food you make?! You can’t possibly eat it all 😳 I would be 300 pounds 😂😂 Enjoy. Hugs, Dolores 🥰
I have a husband, two kids who take the cookies to work or school. I usually try taping two dinners, a dessert, a haul, appetizer. My mom lives next door so she gets a bite or two. 😊 Glad you enjoyed this video. 😊💕
Sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any tips you can offer me
1:58 Love all of your cookbooks I purchased 1,2 and 3 wanted to know if you have published any of just appetizer cookbooks would love to have them also. Thank you .
My favorite cheese ball is cream cheese, finely diced onion, green pepper, grated canned pineapple well drained form into a ball and roll in chopped pecans.
Hi Catherine, your logs are beautiful. I have a question about the last one with mayo, do you taste the mayo or is it for creaminess? We don't care for Mayo so was curious if you taste it. Our go to cheese ball recipe contain cream cheese, sharp cheddar, green onion, Accent, & dried beff chopped fine. The flavors are wonderful! Also I guess I missed the video on your Charcuterie board. I need to go see if I can find that! Have a great day!
A favorite of my family uses 8 oz cream cheese, 8 oz cheddar spread, and horseradish (to taste). Mix the softened cheeses and add the horseradish. Roll in plastic wrap to form a log. Refrigerate for about 1 hour and serve with your favorite crackers. We originally got this recipe from a favorite restaurant in Boston (long since out of business), and when we make it, it disappears quickly.
I am hosting a Thanksgiving dinner in my retirement home for those who have no plans or family to share with. These cheese logs are going to be on the table!! How far in advance can they be prepared?
I don't like cheese so I use fresh bell peppers, bacon bits and ranch seasoning with the imo instead of sour creme or creme cheese, that's what works for me.
I don't know why you would use imitation bacon bits. It's CHRISTMAS! Use real bacon! I don't think mayonnaise is necessary, but I realize it's a southern recipe. I try not to use the microwave so much. It's better to leave it out, and be patient with it, and a jar of fig jam can be set into a pot of water that was just boiled. I used to live in South Carolina, and I just noticed that southern cooking doesn't really bother much with health. And a strangely intense commitment to Duke's mayonnaise... Lol
Watching your videos Catherine wants to make me throw a party!!
We really love cheese. And all that's cooked with it. Very nice and mouth-watering snacks. We liked it)
They all look delicious! I think I liked the Smokey cheddar best!

I got some at Aldi yesterday called Dirty Martini olive spread. It has a tiny bit of blue cheese in it. It’s out of this world! 😋

If you tightly wrap with plastic wrap you could make up to a week in advance. That's so sweet and thoughtful hosting a dinner.

Swiss Colony...
That was it. I loved those boxes. 😊
Like the last two just not a fan of goat cheese. For those that do I am sure it is delicious
I don't like using cling wrap, and anyway, old fashioned wax paper works better for me.
! 🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🎁🎁💖Auguri!!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Pineapple cream cheese ball. We make balls instead of logs 😉
That sounds yummy with pineapple. 😊
