Venture Scat Amusement Ride operation

Operation of the rare Watkins Scat amusement ride. It features 3 friction-based rim drive gear motors through the use of small tires for rotation of both the main boom and the two spinning tubs.

I rode on this for the first time, last weekend in Lynchburg, Virginia at a Carnival below the Brookeville High School, on June 18th, 2016. Let me tell you this, I rode the whole time with my eyes closed, and right when it finally slowed down to a stop, I felt like I was gonna hurl right there. But, I didn't. But I sure was disoriented for awhile after.
There were 3 other riders on there. They saw me put my hand over my mouth, but then it passed. I made my way to one of the porta-johns and tried to hurl, but nothing happened. Thank you to the rider across from me who saw me about to hurl - I am okay. Thank you for asking if I was okay :) I'll pass that ride up again if I see it. one of those one time events. The ride with the Rock Guitar was Cool, the one that goes to the side and up and over and back down and then the operator reverses it. I would rather ride that again, than the Scat. lol

Venture Rides (maker of the Cobra and Granny Bugs) made the Scat, not Watkins. Watkins made the Tempest and Hustler, which are similar to the Scat.

I’ve never seen the scar ride with the crown on top I’ve only seen the one where it’s flat but curve it doesn’t look like a crown btw at my place it’s called Scat 2 because there two scats lol

There is/was one of these at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay Wisconsin a few years ago. I don't know if it's still there but it was a permanent installation. All rides take tickets and tickets are 25¢. Seems like this was a 1 ticket ride. Can anyone confirm ?
