I like how Hikaru has detached himself from the glory of chess titles and tournament victories. He likes to be known better as a streamer and this is probably the best way to make sure chess stays fun for him than become a stressful thing where chess players feel super stressed when they lose a tournament. He got eliminated by Pragg in the world cup and he posted a recap video of his own elimination right after the loss. That's incredibly inspirational and something to learn from.

I don't think Carlsen was that much "terrifying". Nepo just played very very poorly. I predicted that Nepo would be destroyed by 10+ points. I'm not surprised. now I think So has a good chance to beat Carlsen. but in the final, Nakamura will kill So. But if Carlsen beats So, Carlsen-Nakamura will be a much more equal and interesting matchup than So-Nakamura.
