Beautiful family and heartwarming story. Born and raised in LA so I always went to their Downey location. I often get birthday cakes from here and stock up on as much pastries as I can.
I heard about Porto’s from the cake episode on Buzzfeed from YEARS ago. Made my way out to Cali from Michigan and I just had to go to Porto’s. Delicious and was not overhyped or overpriced. Exceeded my expectations.
I met Betty at the Glendale Location, she's very down to earth, with a great sense of humor! ☺️😘🤗 You have to get there when they first open, it's ALWAYS PACKED - folks come from everywhere and everything is DELICIOUS! 😋
