I can feel that. I've learned that vocal tuning is so much more relative than I thought. This is interesting because I actually tuned these vocals with the artist the way they wanted. And he's a trained musician 😅. But still this happens every now and then. Also, interesting to note how we have become more keen for hearing tuned vocals because popular music even up to the 90s had vocals very obviously out of tune but people still loved the music. Now a days people have an issue with it lol. Just interesting.
I always add the effects later on. I loved learning the way you do things
I've tried both for sure!!! I like to get a good foundation for the vocal first most times.
