Your Guardian Angel by TRJA was released in 2007, you'll surely start to love this song more once you knew the bittersweet tragic story behind this song. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus dedicated this song to the 8 teenagers who were killed by an E4 tornado in Enterprise, Alabama on March 1, 2007. A boy named Michael Bowen tried to save his girlfriend Katie Strunk, he jumped on his girlfriend and tried to save her on raging tornado. He was killed by the tornado together with his girlfriend and they were found holding each other tight. He did it because he loved her and wanted for her to live but unfortunately, they both died. "I will never let you fall, I'll stand up with you forever. I'll be there for you through it all, even if saving you sends me to heaven." Thus, he's her guardian angel. The song was even the school's prom theme that year. Enterprise High School was destroyed by this tornado.
My condolences to those who were sacrificed by the tornado. However when I think of the remained, how fortunate those who spent time at the prom, together with the very love, along this song as its theme!

When I was 14, there was a week where one kid in my class every day for almost a full week banged my head against the lockers. By the fifth day I woke up and just didn't want to go in. What was the point? I wasn't cool. It was apparent and there was nothing I could do could to change that. I gave up. I decided that day I only had one choice. That was to be who I really was. Stop trying and be cool. Just give up. I didn't do what was accepted or seemed popular from that point on. I just gave in and did whatever the fuck I thought was cool and what I thought was right. Why not? No one liked me anyway right?. I died my hair black, didn't care that people made fun of my favourite bands and what I wore. They made fun of me anyway. I fully gave in to who I really was. From that point on school was really fun. It wasn't fully easy, but those who loved me REALLY loved me, girls and guys alike and those who hated me were going to anyway. Even the kid who used to bang my head on the locker became a friend. It feels harder as I get older to stay true to who I am and actually be true to myself but I do my best.
