That looks delicious and I too love apples! Grew up picking them from the orchards in the neighborhood back home. I absolutely though I lived in heaven where all fruit was free from God! Never had anyone tell me to get off the land or holler at me for eating it. Only took what I was eating and left with a full belly! Hahaha I miss those times. Watching you make that was like being there again, thank you ♡

I made this it was lovely - needed more flour for the topping. It was such a lovely variation to what we have in the Uk. It’s now called the Italian Apple cake X
I found a similar recipe in an old cookery book from South Africa. They call it German Apple Tart and grate the topping.
@@lizeggar2421 This is one of my favorite cakes my German grandma used to bake every autumn season. We call the topping "Streusel" in German and it is true that you can grate the dough to make them. However, my grandma always made them by just using her hands like in the video.."less cleaning later" she would say. 😂

Provata proprio oggi; veramente la ricetta migliore nonostante la sua semplicità! Le mele precotte in padella, insieme alla leggera pasta frolla saturano il palato dei loro sapori meravigliosi! Un gran voto alla redattrice per l'ottimo consiglio (io vado pazzo per le torte di mele e fino ad oggi ho sempre seguito la ricetta dell'ottima Petronilla, ma da oggi......)

1 tsp of baking powder , see time 00:30. no yeast
Though yeast is mentioned in the English subtitles but it doesn't seem that she added it. Plus, she already put some baking powder.. and this a crumble recipe which doesn't need much leavening agents.
I think some baking soda was added to the flour.
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
