What I have noticed about the malls in India as a tourist is that the markets in India can be packed with people yet when I go into the large shopping malls in India there are less crowds in them and it appears that many Indian people shy away from them as they prefer the traditional shopping at the markets . I actual prefer to shop in the markets as they are more unique and are more individually owned and it don't matter where you go worldwide including airport shopping or large shopping malls any where in the world , you usually see the same high priced stores that you see elsewhere in the world . When I went to Aero City in Delhi which has a selection of very high quality shopping centres , the security men saw me from the distance and rushed over to tell me where the entrance was , it appears that they knew that tourist had more interest in visiting the shopping malls than the locals and what I noticed in India is that they did security checks on locals entering the shopping malls but just let me go in without doing any checks and I don't know the reason why .
Wrong observation... New generation and higher middle-class people do like visiting malls.. As it is multi facility glittering area.. Due to covid you may had found less crowd.. But in malls people behave discipline must you must found difference than choas old markets
bro, you are right but it depends upon the cities if you go to Mumbai where most rich people live you would find malls are crowded but if you go to up, or any other backward state then the situation is different and the second most important thing is its mostly depend upon income of the people if more than people tend to spend more on luxury and if less then street markets that's all

I am really enjoying your vlogs ! So, Birla Temple is called Birla Temple because of the person who built it. Mr Birla. He is one of the most famous businessmen of India who belongs to Rajasthan state. The guy is so popular that people address his temple with his name instead of the name of the deity in the temple. And the fort like structure you saw, as rightly said by the cab driver is a temple of Lord Shiva. It doesn't open for the public all the year round. It opens once a year only. And so much fun watching you two play all the games at the Arcade. The rides were amazing, it was fun to watch your expression and reaction. Rahul looked very happy! Oh I wish you had food at Kebabs and Curries at the food court, they have some really good non veg food options. Its a very popular chain of North Indian non veg food in whole of Jaipur and they are slowly spreading in other cities as well.

Market areas are much cheaper compared to expensive mall.
