I don't know if players feel the same way, but the lack of sim city really makes these matches less interesting to watch than other rts games as an observer. I never realized how important sim city is to engagement variety - the wrench buildings throw into engagements really changes how every battle feels. As a casual observer of this game now, I feel like I'm watching the same thing over and over again and I never really felt that when I was watching sc/sc2 matches. I wonder if this game could benefit from some sort of modular obstacle system. Seems like a lack of any map altering gameplay makes players way more hesitant to expand too.
What's with all these up and coming RTS games having REALLY LAME unit designs? The units in this video and Stormgate are all just random amorphous shapes sometimes with wheels, they look very Fisher Price. Atleast Zero Space appears to actually be trying.
This game has a very intentional unit design, they are all robots with some kind of face SOMEWHERE in their bodies, it actually has way really great unit design, your just so unbelievably wrong.
I think this recommendation of mine sucks because it sounds like Fortnite: but what if there were units that made temporary terrain like water, hills etc @w4tsup

Unit design in this game is actually dope imo. I mean... king crabs... come on! That's just gold

Am kinda over giant enemy crabs since the Konami E3 presentation lol
