    I saw the interview. The one thing I really appreciated was she did not reveal what CC told her. She said what she said to CC but not what CC said. Sides and Dunn revealed what CC said in personal conversations to the media. That was not a good idea. That is when CC probably stopped telling them stuff.

      I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s some of the X & O’s that they discussed. I could see Clark telling Stephanie that she lost trust in Sides after saying things about their private conversations to the media.

    I watched that podcast and came away feeling "Wow!". Talk about a perfect match for the Fever. I was never a Christie Sides hater (she was more energy and culture building), but Stephanie White is clearly a strategic X's and O's coaching upgrade. This is gonna be fun to watch!

      Sides was good with the team building over the Olympic break, but it takes a special coach to guide a generational player and a young team overall.

    after a slow start the Fever did make the play offs so it isn't like SW has to start from scratch. the base is there, now fill in at defense, a tall gal that can defend and catch bullets.

      Well when you look at it a little deeper. Smith , Boston, Hull and CC22 all are still on their rookie contracts which means that they’re all in need of development. Better coaching will improve all of their overall talent and ability. Now that’s what’s scary for them get a coaching staff that actually knows how to coach them. OMG is all I gotta and I can’t wait till the season starts

    • @CliffordJohnson-u5v
      @CliffordJohnson-u5v 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@victorforeman7056 delving even deeper will show that using a rookie contract as a bookmark is an over generalization. CC is the only one with only one year as a pro. Better coaching is a given though I wonder how long before the fan/coach second guessing will commence. Smith? could be a great player if she gets her head right on a regular basis.

      At iowa we got a ton of paint touches. The difference was that they were taking advantage of what the defense. Basically move the ball to manipulate the defense, if you can create a favorable matchup take it. So if boston has a favorable matchup inside go there. If boston is going to struggle against a bigger shot blocker maybe have her shoot from the outside more. Cc will take her shots when there within the system.

    After, Sides departure, was there ever any gracious words expressed from Sides to her Fever players or from any of them to Sides? ... ... I felt frustrated with Sides lack of depth/plays/time-out awareness and such, but I did feel they overall had good rapport between each other ... .... They all handled diplomatically the unprecedented noice surrounding them in-person and otherwise - and it might have even made the players a tighter unit rapport-wise.

    Now the key will be for Kelly Krauskopf to arrange the trades and recruit the free agents needed to match the vision.
    Lin Dunn built a roster that was optimized for the slow half court offense run through the post. Older players without the speed or stamina to run.
    Some of them are good players for the traditional offense but not well suited to a fast break transition offense.
    I like these players, but they're the wrong guy for the vision Stephanie White is putting out there.

When she believes the grass is greener, on the other side, she will bail and jump on to the next train. She has done this her entire life, professionally and personally. Even with the upgrade on offense, the addition of Mabry, White couldn't get the Sun to the finals. Add to that her dismal record at Vanderbilt, Chistie Sides will be laughing her a.. off when the Fever get bounced in the playoffs, assuming they make it that far. Talk about the most overhyped HC in basketball history!

    • @brgilbert2
      @brgilbert2 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      [djamellallouti2035] While I am not high on White, my conclusion is you know "nothing about basketball"!! Let me help you!!
      After the Fever's slow start, about the middle of the season, they played the New York Liberty who had the "BEST" record in the league and beat them!! Three days later they travel to Washington DC and play the worst team in the league. By half--time the Fever were behind by more then 20 points. What happened??
      In the post game interview before the Washington DC trip Christy Sides admitted to reading in "social media" how many of those posting had strongly suggested she be "removed as coach". So, Sides travels down to DC, changes the starting line-up that had just beat the "BEST" team in the league and gets blown out and all because Sides would show those negative people how good a coach she was by changing a winning line-up.
      Anyone who decides how she will coach a game by letting "social media" influence your decisions is NOT a good coach.
