Lighting and sound are just as important in this game as the ships! It makes it so much more immersive... walking by something and not really noticing because it's so "real" is a good thing.
Sound and lighting are important for immersion but also how you react to the game itself. Super important, a lot of folks take it for granted I think. When its done well, it makes all of the difference.
The light and audio stuff is cool but seems like it should be lower priority than most other things. I guess it has to be developed in tandem, because other code needs to use it, though.

It is always good when we get some "light" content.
It is funny how you don't think about certain features but once they are in you realize just how amazing they are.
Some light will help in those Pitch black Pyro Planet sides

One thing I'll give overwatch: they used sound well to commuicate clearly what was going on around you. I hope it will be similar with sc.
