- In the market to purchase a home? Why not consider 3D printing one? A Dutch couple are believed to be the first to create and move into one in the Netherlands. The entire two-bedroom bungalow was printed in a factory and assembled on a plot of land. “With this technology, that is to say digitalization technology, we have greatly contributed to bringing more versatility, sustainability and health to the construction industry," Theo Salet said. 3D Printing is absolutely amazing, it's crazy - attempts to also be 3D printing organs, such as kidneys and hearts have also been done for a while now, it's potentially going to be extremely useful in the future

Seal the outside surface and since it is concrete should be more thermally efficient than 2x4's 2x6's and insulation.

Just make sure you choose the right file to print otherwise you may make a castle instead of a bungalow!

The one this couple is living in is actually a rental house. they rent it yust like an apartment they don't onw it. So a cool house and you can rent it

Same reason I won't work in the trades I grew up in as a child till my mid 20's. People want it super cheap, It doesn't pay well for the toll on your body end of the day if your not working for yoursef. Working warehouse or trucking for example pays more than laying mason work down. Again the problem everyone wants it cheap asf.
I can already see in the future that all these houses will be made by that amazing

True....not sure why people would be worried about the strength of the house. Would rather live in a house like that then some of these houses I see made completely out of cheap wood these days.
That’s amazing! The technology will only get better, faster, and cheaper. When other 3d printer companies create competition, things will really speed up! This can be a key solution to fix the homelessness problem.
