I’m all for alternative building techniques. I don’t understand why we haven’t invested more time into straw bale houses, cob houses, and other alternative buildings. It’s what our ancestors did.
The material is mostly concrete, so it would take some extreme temperatures just to melt it, never mind burning up. It would most likely survive any typical house fire.
