The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

YOU CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT CREDENCE. EVERY SONG THEY WROTE WAS AN ICONIC ANTHEM AND DOWN ON THE CORNER IS AS PERFECT A SONG AS HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN. NO FLASHY TECHNICAL INSTRUMENTATION , NO PRETENTIOUS POLITICAL/MORAL MESSAGE IN THE LYRICS. IT'S THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE BAND SET TO MUSIC. THE MIRACULOUS THING IS , IS THEY MANAGED TO ACHIEVE THIS ALMOST EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY WROTE A SONG !!

The world's best band and they didn't need any drugs to stand on stage. John Fogerty's unique voice and power plus catchy melodies and a cohesive band, absolutely fantastic even it was only John singing live here.

Great band and John Fogerty had that deep shout that rock n roll needed at that time!

I love CCR music from 40 years ago.
I learned how to play the guitar, how to play the drama.
I was in a band, too.
It still reminds me of the old days. Wow!

Love Creedance, so does Johnny Depp, I think, as this song was heard blasting from his car as he arrived in court yesterday. Good luck Johnny from the U.K!

Have you ever seen the rain coming down? Coming down on a sunny day? These guys were so good. Too bad the infighting blew the whole thing up. They had so much and this performance shows the world how great they were. Then it was needlessly thrown away instead of just riding with it. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

3 of the very best rocking bands in this world The Beetle, Creedence Clearwater Revival & Thin Lizzy, they all produced and played the best music, Now for a further connection, those 3 brilliant bands had with each other , All 4 beetles were of Irish stock, John & Tom Forgery of Irish stock, Thin Lizzy all Irish boys. You cannot beat the Irish when it comes to music, stories, ancient history, poems, dancing, friendlessness and loving a good time,
