I love her wedding dress. I’ve never seen a wedding dress as unique as this. Congratulation to the newlywed and wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
Hanna L exactly. it seems like she just saw herself in a certain dress in her mind. It doesn't actually look good in person. She's just married to the idea so she likes it.
You'd think these designer's would stir these woman in the right direction with ideas on what flatters your figure. Not just dress them up. This dress is horrible on her. Did she try on anything else to see what works for her.
This wedding gown is a masterpiece, but unfortunately it's not too flattering for her body type. I think I'd rather go for "my" wedding gown instead of "a" couture dress.
I think she is uncredibly beautiful in general (not just "for somebody her age" etc.). The only thing I wanted to mention is, that I'm pretty sure that there might have been a dress being able to compliment her beauty much more. That is one of the lovely things in fashion: It is able to underline your beauty. But she loved it and the husband as well: That's most important.
Mariciella Yes, good point. I suppose I added three because it's just lazy text grammar. I thought the quotes were added in weirdly. Maybe "a couture " dress would have made better sense to me.
I dont feel like its getting married as in living with a man .. Children are too innocent to think this way. Its just the white princess like dress that fascinates little girls especially when they go to weddings the bride seems like a princess
+lilMissF0F0 Sure thing. Although I did go to weddings as a kid and I played and ate throughout. Probably its a traditional thing to expect that girls like being the bride :)
I think for somebody her age and already having a baby her body is superb. She's a real woman, not a model. I don't get all these comments feeding in negativity
davecsaszarable I don't think anyone is saying SHE herself doesn't look good - it's more so the dress that doesn't look good on/for her. But again, she was happy and that's all that matters.
davecsaszarable I was reading alot of negative comments and I got This very nice comment here that's talks about the reality..yes!!! people are absolutely blinded with figure of a model... she looks amazing as a normal bride..
Hard for me not to notice but damn, the grooms clothing had nowhere near the attention the bride received. His coat was wrinkled and fit poorly. Could they give the poor guy a proper bespoke piece as well?
Great clip! I think the cut out applique flowers on the silk netting bodice top area ruins the entire clean and delicate design. Small pearls would of been more classic. I'm sure the client wanted it. But She's the one with the money.
Beautiful lace, but this dress looks so uncomfortable. Corseted back, pencil skirt so tight she can barely walk, a jewel neckline that goes up to her throat. You can picture her screaming, "let me out..."
It's not that people are 'hating', it's that people are giving their honest opinion and I too think the dress wasn't for her, it cut her in half, it should have been one piece instead of the top with a belt, what's that? and then the bottom part.
I could have made her look much better and for a fraction of the price. In my professional opinion it cuts her top body in 2 places so bad proportion makes her look short, not elegant at all. but oh well its Givanchy so lets all praise it. love the veil tho.
fox_in _xxs_clothes it depends on the proportion of the dress. Petite girls (shorter than5'3") can struggle with full princess gown because it swallows them up and completely overwhelms them. You should experiment with where the waist hits, natural waist versus drop waist to see if that has any affect on how it looks on you. Perhaps you can try a princess dress but remove SOME of the volume/layering beneath... So its fuller than an A-line, but less full than a true princess fit. Experiment with a mermaid fit, especially if you are slim, and go for shoes that have as high of a heel as you can tolerate.
my mother made my wedding dress in 2 days. she's not a "professional", it's just a hobby. my wedding dress is definitely the most beautiful and original 💗 really proud of my mom
All that matters is that she is happy in the dress. The comments about her posture and how the dress is not flattering to her body type are irrelevant in the situation.
Normally when a bride puts on her dress, tears of joy come out. In her case, it was just another designer dress to suit her needs...money can not buy everything.
The dress was incredible. The fit, the design, the material; brilliant. The transition from the top with the peplum to the skirt was classic and elegant. I think what confuses the haters are those tacky ass strapless things that come from those bridal shops so that when they actually see real couture they don't know what they're looking at.
For those criticizing the dress, the designer, and her, for the "look" or "flatter" of the dress: You may want to step back for a second and think about a few things. First being, her culture and what is considered "beautiful" is not the same as yours. Beauty standards are not universal. Second and probably most important being, this is HER dress. She doesn't have to LOOK beautiful: She has to FEEL it. This dress makes her feel that way, and that's all that matters.
I love it! The only thing I don't like is those lonely flowers at the top, it... ages the dress in my eyes. Makes it look old and makes her look older.
The look was uniquely designed to her requests... I'm sure he made several suggestions bt, at the end of the day it was her dream gown. She wasn't a young bride, and I dnt think she was going for the sexy mermaid. She had already had a child, so this is usually a very good, way to hide the tummy.and make you focus on the whole vision of her not just her mid section.I felt all of it complimented who she was and how she wanted to feel walking down the isle, like a Spanish Princess*.And, he delivered that after the several changes to what she wanted done .Always, keep in mind we,as couture designers are the mind & hands that brings your dreams to reality for your very special day.I think she looked sophisticated with a touch of lacee romance... Lady Deś Marést
I found the dress STUNNING! Simple, elegant, without looking cheap and tacky, or too many layers like a cake. Just my personal preference =) But i agree with everyone else, she does look way older in her gown! Probably makeup and hair?
+Des Slye When you do a wedding dress... you do it for the client... it's rare that one, as a designer, has a word on the dress, even if you are a huge five star designer, it's the bride who has the last word, even if it doesn't really look good on her, what she wants, she gets.
the best thing about this dress is how happy it makes the bride. look at her. great job.
+mndjohn Finally! a decent human being!
mndjohn so true ♥ that's what matters the most !
I love her wedding dress. I’ve never seen a wedding dress as unique as this. Congratulation to the newlywed and wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
The waist is not working. Makes her look thicker. The belt is a superfluous detail that also doesn't work. The fabric is insanely beautiful.
Michel Blanchard says the top fashion designer🙄 she is tiny nothing will make her look thick.
Michel - Yes.
Agree, agree, agree
Totally.
i thought exactly the same
There is a disconnect between her and the dress. She comes out looking much older in the wedding gown. Total fail.
stfup😠
Leslie Bart
Leslie Bart
Ash A I thought the same
It was a bit matronly.
The dress doesn't suit her.
She had no sense of what would look beautiful on her, but she looked very happy in their joint bespoke creation.
Hanna L exactly. it seems like she just saw herself in a certain dress in her mind. It doesn't actually look good in person. She's just married to the idea so she likes it.
Hanna L I disagree, I think it suited her perfectly, but we shall agree to dissagree
Hanna - True.
You'd think these designer's would stir these woman in the right direction with ideas on what flatters your figure. Not just dress them up. This dress is horrible on her. Did she try on anything else to see what works for her.

Mariciella why did you put quotes around the letter a??? lol
To emphasize the difference between the articles.
Why did you use three question marks?
Mariciella Yes, good point. I suppose I added three because it's just lazy text grammar. I thought the quotes were added in weirdly. Maybe "a couture " dress would have made better sense to me.
Riccardo is a genius I love his work
Doesnt flatter her as she is short, needed simple long lines.
kiwigal1965 What? Have you got ANY sense of fashion or esthetics at all? She looks stunning!
I am obsess to this video. I cant stop watching it over and over and over again.
Childhood dream to get married? HHAHA! My childhood dream was to go to disneyland! :D
Mine was to be a cat
Even better!! :D
I dont feel like its getting married as in living with a man .. Children are too innocent to think this way. Its just the white princess like dress that fascinates little girls especially when they go to weddings the bride seems like a princess

Charlene Joan Sant I just wanted to be an immortal princess.

She looks fab, there is no doubt. The dress is another storey. It looks like it was made for someone else.
davecsaszarable I was reading alot of negative comments and I got This very nice comment here that's talks about the reality..yes!!! people are absolutely blinded with figure of a model... she looks amazing as a normal bride..
no one is criticizing her simply this dress doesn't fit her and it's truth tbh.
Hard for me not to notice but damn, the grooms clothing had nowhere near the attention the bride received. His coat was wrinkled and fit poorly. Could they give the poor guy a proper bespoke piece as well?
The dress is not my style but she still looked beautiful. The wedding overall looked very #royal.
Great clip! I think the cut out applique flowers on the silk netting bodice top area ruins the entire clean and delicate design. Small pearls would of been more classic. I'm sure the client wanted it. But She's the one with the money.
She got a givenchy couture wedding dress... LUCKY
I liked it better on a sketch :/
and this is why i am studying hand embroidery so i can work on couture pieces like this!
The veil and the tiara bring it all together. She looks so happy and gorgeous in it.
I did not like the line of the dress around the waist. It was bulky and unflattering.
The belt and bra bottom line were make the dress look bulky.
Meh, I'm not the biggest fan of the dress, but who cares what I think? It's her wedding day, as long as she feels beautiful that's all that matters :)
absolutely stunning.
How Faaaab to have Riccardo create your wedding dress...
Pinkys channel ikr!
Stunning! I wanna go to Paris ASAP!
Beautiful creation..very elegant
...beautiful video! - would like to know the music from this video love it thank you!
the details on the transparent part of the dress around her neck were not nice or beautiful
It looks like a business dress to me seeing that there's a belt and a peplum top 😓
i agree! it doesn't suit her body type. but she looks happy that's all that matters.
Lavineciel ...😁😂😁😃don't make me laugh...
The fabric is insanely beautiful
Beautiful lace, but this dress looks so uncomfortable. Corseted back, pencil skirt so tight she can barely walk, a jewel neckline that goes up to her throat. You can picture her screaming, "let me out..."
Ricardo tisci is one of my favorite designers, I love him..
Beautiful!
Wow! Im speechless.
Wow, this is actually Dubrovnik, Croatia. Cool :)

the dress is gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous gown!
What style dress is this. I loved it,
This dress for me is probably one of the most beautiful wedding dresses of all time.
The dress it's gorgeous!
So lovely, All The Things!! I'm wondering if her ring was custom made, it was so unusual looking but stunningly beautiful.
what is the music playing right at the end? Please can someone let me know...Thank You
I see that it was unique to the customer, and she was excited about it! Job well done, and the design is unique! Great dress here!
This dress is amazing omg
Lovely! Classic
That ring is amazing.
The dress is stunning. People need to stop hating
K Tibaijuka right!
It's not that people are 'hating', it's that people are giving their honest opinion and I too think the dress wasn't for her, it cut her in half, it should have been one piece instead of the top with a belt, what's that? and then the bottom part.
It's extremly chic, romantic and elegant at the very same time. I really would buy it.
I could have made her look much better and for a fraction of the price. In my professional opinion it cuts her top body in 2 places so bad proportion makes her look short, not elegant at all. but oh well its Givanchy so lets all praise it. love the veil tho.

Does anyone know the name of the music that started playing at 3:10? Thanks
I think you looks amazing and it fits you well. Sophisticated and elegant.
Dress looks beautiful but I'm not the biggest fan of the gap between the peplum top and the skirt.
Que interesante y bello es ese trabajo 👏👏👏👏
lovee this drees!! Fabiola looks ravishing!
INSANE dress
Gorgeous dress.
my mother made my wedding dress in 2 days. she's not a "professional", it's just a hobby. my wedding dress is definitely the most beautiful and original 💗 really proud of my mom

Amazingggggg
The dress is beautiful :3
All that matters is that she is happy in the dress. The comments about her posture and how the dress is not flattering to her body type are irrelevant in the situation.

Dina M The dress is gorgeous but It doesn't suit her. I'm sorry, but her waist is too fat for that dress.
You are so mean
Beautiful
she is soo lovely
does anyone know what the last song in the video is?
Normally when a bride puts on her dress, tears of joy come out. In her case, it was just another designer dress to suit her needs...money can not buy everything.
The most beautiful wedding dress for the most beautiful bride.
Love Givenchy. Ricardo Tisci is Gorgeous! Xo's
It looks like 3 dresses sewn together.
I never dreamed of wearing such a dress I always dreamed of making such a dress
Beautiful wedding dress...
it makes her torso look small if it were longer then it would longate her body look slimmer the top just looks choppy
I don't like the "polka dot" lace pattern at the top, it makes a disconnect to everything!
Definately a beautiful dress.
This dress is so perfect ! the flowers and everything ! it's so white to ! It's just mind blowing !
Not really my style. But she looks very pretty in it.
Absolutely stunning. She doesn’t look fat
Guys leave her alone! Who cares what everyone else thinks, all that should matter is that shes happy and comfortable in her dress for her wedding
Perfect
The dress was incredible. The fit, the design, the material; brilliant. The transition from the top with the peplum to the skirt was classic and elegant. lazer58 so true
👏👏👏👏👏👏lindo
So classically beautiful

This is like online shopping -the dress you order is different from the one which actually comes :(
I love it! The only thing I don't like is those lonely flowers at the top, it... ages the dress in my eyes. Makes it look old and makes her look older.
Por fin un vestido de novia con mangas largas.
The look was uniquely designed to her requests...
I'm sure he made several suggestions bt, at the end of the day it was her dream gown. Very beautiful
Aw I really did not like the dress, I don't think it suited her at all
Beautiful dress, bad posture.
that was not a great dress.....sorry......unflattering to say the least.
+mlvc82 the dress was great, the problem is that the woman doesnt look good in the dress, if a model wore that then that would look stunning
+Des Slye When you do a wedding dress... you do it for the client... it's rare that one, as a designer, has a word on the dress, even if you are a huge five star designer, it's the bride who has the last word, even if it doesn't really look good on her, what she wants, she gets.
+Des Slye Criticizing a woman in her wedding dress and saying she's not beautiful enough is reflective of how superficial you have become.
+Des Slye omg lol, smh
The glove details of the dress were amazing. But I didn't like the sheer of the top. Looked too cut and sew.
fab
