I haven't played the game yet and the CBT too, so far that I understand are: - Manage your resources well. The game have limited resources that you can earn per day and you want to manage them to specific team comps so you can able to progress further - Try to make at least one team each for short range, mid range, and long range (Edit: Instead of one team for each range, just build one team with synergies with bursts, all-round for each range, or stacked DPS) - Do your missions - Play for waifu so if you get frustrated or have a bad day, your waifu can comfort you Edit: After playing for a while, I think I can gest some of the game mechanics. - I recommend to raise only 5 of your Nikkes. Despite the materials that hard and take long time to get, there is a level link system to raise your other Nikke to your 5th highest level Nikke. So your lvl1 Nikkes can levelled up instantly without putting more resources. I recommend to raise your DPS, purple Nikkes, or your favourite ones first. But be careful, you won't get as many pull as you get in memento mori, so getting dupes are hard to come by. You can reset your Nikke's level and get refunded, with a cost. - Auto is great, but some may or have to be in manual such as EX stages. In auto mode you can still control your Nikkes to direct their attacks to enemies' weakpoints or to take cover to avoid taking damage from special attacks

Thanks for the video, very informative. But I kinda disagree on the resource boxes. You are definitely going to need those to upgrade your Nikkes to further the campaign. It does you no good if you are stuck and sitting on a lot of resources in your inventory. I think you should definitely use them.

I got Volume on my first roll, and holy shit I was not ready for her Live 2D(stayed away from spoilers for all the characters). Can't wait to see how I feel about this game
You can reroll for pilgram, just not the tutorial roll. You can use the 3k we get for pre registration points and roll pilgrim on the oridinary banner (wouldnt recommend it though)

I am planning to play this a little more "casually" and the whole 100% min-maxing part - TO ME - is a little more stressful(?) than enjoyable, but this still had a good few things that are absolutely good to know in regards to not getting stuck, what to prioritize even in a more "casual" approach etc. I'll try not to look at tierlists, as I do enjoy finding my own kinda teams that might work. It's a part of the puzzle for me, I guess hehe. Will at least make sure to try and tackle the campaign as far as I can as a priority to get those better outpost rewards as well as not go around too carelessly upgrading skills before there's need or a plan forming. Already got a good lesson about shotgun based team not working in everything (vs. Chatterbox where him jumping far away rendered DPS non-existant) Oh and I'll definitely try to remain a f2p player, as luckily the prices of crystals are *REALLY* expensive in my opinion. Had they been cheaper, I think I would've lost a good bit of money to it in long term as I'd manage to justify it to myself sometimes... but now; Nooo way. Well, except the "monthly supplies" pack.. grabbed that for 5,99... seems ok value and fair support for what I think is quite a fun game. The combat is actually more satisfying than it looked like from the videos. I basically only downloaded due to thicc thighs but happy to see the story is pretty compelling with so much voiceover and the odd unique cutscene here and there!
If the waifu you want is worth pulling, then it definitely is. But yeah, progressing with the nikke's that you got without any knowledge of the meta is soo damn fun.

if the meta is similar to destiny child , it will change quickly but so fast that if you are not a whale you will not be able to maximize the character before changing the meta

I'm all in on volume 100%, just been trying to figure out which characters synergies best with her. I don't suppose you have any recommendations on that front?

Since the game only gives me shotgun units like pepper and drake, I'll just do with what I have. Also I didn't know shotgun meta was that strong.
