Great tutorial, thx for the cool idea. just a small remark, in minute 19 ++ - for the sphere, you just need to make one copy of "set position" node and plug "scale" to "offset" then it works synchron with only one node :)
Sure you can, but I'm not an expert in Maths functions. However, I saw some posts where people represent complicated equations with a lot of Maths nodes to get impressive 3D designs. I will try to investigate more :)
Can we use a camera instead of a mesh for following a path created with geometry nodes? I was having trouble getting a camera to work following a curve in geometry nodes for some reason.
I didn't find a way to make the real camera follow a curve built inside geometry nodes. I tried to use the camera and select "As instance" and it follows the path, it works. However, being a copy of the original camera, when you try to see the camera view it doesn't work. I don't know if this has a solution.
Hi Xan, thanks a bunch for trying to figure it out....I really appreciate it. I was scratching my head on this one for a while. Perhaps in a future version of Blender this could change. This could be an amazing technique to use with our animations. @@Xan3D
I would actually constraint the camera to an invisible object like a sphere to get this effect done. Or you parent it to the object and disable the visibility for that object in the render and/or viewport.

Bro you're a wizard. This is exactly what I was looking for, and you're the only one out there explaining it so well, thanks a lot!
This is so much appreciated! Great

Very Nice, Great Explaination!
Would it also work if you change the add to subtract then no need for multiply node to -1?
Hard but it's nice to add in future project 😊
Can you simulate some functions using these geometric nodes?

Nice now I know how to ASINE this node ("assign" sorry for dad joke please don't ban)
Hahahaha I actually laughed 🤣 Good one!
